Summary
The present Thesis aims to analyze the impact of the tariffs imposed by the United States on the European Union, which, as a consequence, affect Spanish production during the administrations of Donald Trump (2017/2020) and Joe Biden (2021/2024). To carry out this study, an empirical analysis is conducted using the Leontief Input-Output model, based on data obtained from DataComex and the National Statistics Institute (INE). This analysis examines the various tariffs imposed during the specified period, which directly affect the export of six key products: wine, olive oil, cheese, steel, aluminum, and vehicles. A decline in international trade with the United States is observed for these goods during the 2017/2020 period. The results obtained help to understand how certain protectionist measures, such as tariffs, generate negative effects on international trade relations, specifically on the Spanish economy.

Summary
This paper has been chosen with the purpose of analyzing the strategic role of human talent management in the context of Spanish dairy cooperatives, with a special focus on the Galician cooperative CLUN (Cooperativas Lácteas Unidas), the organization where I did my curricular internship. Although this experience motivated the choice of the topic, the analysis has been developed from an academic and independent perspective. The decision to focus on CLUN responds to the interest in understanding how an entity based on cooperative principles -such as democratic participation, equity and territorial commitment- can adapt its strategies for attracting, developing and retaining talent in an increasingly digitalized, competitive and sustainability-oriented environment. The cooperative model represents a business alternative that combines economic profitability with social impact, which makes it a particularly relevant object of study. The methodology used was qualitative and exploratory, structured in two phases. Firstly, a documentary review was carried out based on academic literature, sectoral reports and institutional sources, with the aim of defining the main strategies and trends in talent management applied to agri-food cooperatives. Secondly, the case of CLUN was analyzed as a representative example, contrasting its management model with the practices identified in the theoretical framework. The work delves into issues such as continuous training, participative leadership, non-monetary recognition and the use of digital tools such as artificial intelligence or the dairy sector. This work seeks to demonstrate how talent management aligned with cooperative values can be not only effective, but transformative.

Summary
Sustainable employability has become a key issue at a time when the labor market is constantly changing due to technological advancements, especially artificial intelligence. This paper will attempt to understand what this concept means, what personal factors (such as health, motivation, and psychological capital) and the environment influence it, and how AI is transforming jobs and work environments around the world. In addition to the theoretical analysis, quantitative research was conducted by distributing a survey to young people who are just starting their professional careers or have very little experience, with the aim of understanding how they view their future careers and their ability to adapt. The results of the analysis will allow us to understand how young people perceive their own sustainable employability and whether they feel threatened by the incorporation of AI into the workforce.

Summary
In recent years, generational inequality has emerged as one of the major social and economic challenges in Spain. This Final Degree Project focuses on analyzing this phenomenon through a relatively unexplored approach: Income Composition Inequality. This approach not only examines the inequality in income distribution among individuals but also the unequal composition of income sources. The study explores how these sources vary by age, particularly during the Great Recession and the COVID 19 pandemic, within the period 2007 2021. New indicators are introduced to measure age-based ICI, based on adaptations of existing methodologies. Using microdata from the Living Conditions Survey (INE), the IFCA and ICIA indexes are constructed to evaluate the differentiated role of the market and public policies in shaping and correcting generational inequalities.

First, the company will be introduced, including its history and the most relevant financial figures. Next, the methodology used to determine the company's value will be explained. A sector and company analysis will then be carried out, covering both the micro environment and macro environment. This will include tools such as the PESTEL analysis, SWOT analysis, and Porter’s Five Competitive Forces. The following section will present a financial and economic analysis of the company and its competitors, examining the value drivers and fundamental factors. This analysis will show that the company exhibits higher growth and profitability compared to its rivals. Using the information gathered, a strategy will be developed for the company with the objective of constructing pro forma financial statements, which will allow us to estimate the company's value. This strategy will focus on improving the operating margin and the capital structure. Finally, the company will be valued using two fundamental valuation methods. As a result, the equity value is estimated to exceed 180 million euros at the beginning of 2024. To conclude the report, we will assess the valuation risk through three sensitivity analyses. This project contains 9,999 words.

In this Final Degree Project, an economic and financial analysis of Club Atlético de Madrid S.A.D. will be carried out in order to understand its current situation and its trend between 2020 and 2023, comparing it with FC Barcelona and Real Madrid. To do this, an analysis will be carried out, both internally and externally, and then proceed to the analysis through different ratios, with emphasis on the items that have the greatest influence on the clubs and their results. For the study, information from the annual accounts has been used, in addition to the information available in different reports, laws and studies on the sector, which make it possible to understand and study the particular conditions of this type of company, focusing on the origin of the income or how their expenses are distributed, among others. In conclusion, we could say that Atlético de Madrid is not in a good moment, since during the last few years it has not achieved positive results and its debts have been increasing, although its situation is not as drastic as that of FC Barcelona, which, despite presenting a better situation in the short term, its long-term situation is not favourable.

Summary
The process of globalization brings with it various implications, some recent studies consider that many of these are harmful to the economy and society. This paper analyzes how globalization has influenced the failure to achieve Sustainable Development Goal number ten, which consists of reducing inequalities. The extent to which globalization has affected income distribution and the development of economies is studied. To do this, various recent studies are analyzed that quantify the increase in socioeconomic inequality in different regions, examine the new relationship between capital and labor, the impact of free trade, the benefits of subsidies, the integration of certain economies into world trade, and different ways of measuring inequality, among other aspects. The situation in Latin America is studied as an example of a region with developing economies. Different measures of inequality such as the Human Development Index and the Gini Coefficient are analyzed for four Latin American countries: Chile and Uruguay as more advanced economies in the development process, and Guatemala and Bolivia as more lagging economies. The conclusions of this analysis highlight the need to implement structural reforms in developing economies to curb the high levels of poverty and socioeconomic inequality. In this way, a series of strategies are proposed to make globalization more equitable by giving greater importance to the power of the state and implementing social economy measures.

Summary
In recent years, concern over the constant rise in rental housing prices in Spain has increased considerably. There is a widespread belief that one of the main causes, if not the main one, is the proliferation of tourist dewllings. For this reason, in this work, we decided to conduct a study on how the increase in tourism, as well as tourist dwellings, impacts the increase in rental housing prices. To do so, we will consider different types of tourist destinations in our country, the evolution of tourism over the last decade, the evolution of prices per square meter of rental homes, the change in the number of tourist dwellings, as well as the percentage of tourist dwellings in the total number of registered homes. The databases used were the National Institute of Statistics and the real estate website Idealista. The results obtained in this study show that tourist-use housing represents an almost insignificant number in relation to the total number of homes, for all the cases studied; therefore, we were unable to establish a correlation between the increase in rental prices and tourist-use housing.

Summary
This paper analyzes the differences in access to and use of financial services depending on the income level of different countries, using the World Bank’s Global Findex 2021 as a reference. The main objective is to highlight the extent to which financial development and digitalization have contributed to increasing financial inclusion, especially in developing countries. By analyzing several indicators it is observed that income remains a relevant factor for accessing financial services. The paper also examines the impact of digitalization, highlighting the cases of China and India as potential benchmarks. In addition, it explores the role of cryptocurrencies and decentralized platforms as a pathway to broaden financial inclusion. Among the main conclusions, it is emphasized that financial inclusion goes beyond simply opening bank accounts. Factors such as financial education and institutional quality are essential to ensure that financial digitalization is truly effective and does not reinforce existing inequalities.

Summary
This final project aims to conduct an economic and financial analysis of Real Club Deportivo de La Coruña during the period between the 2016/2017 and 2021/2022 seasons. The study focuses on the evolution of the club’s main revenues and expenses, as well as its profitability and solvency, using a set of relevant financial ratios. The research begins with a brief historical overview of the club before turning to a detailed analysis of its ordinary income and expenditure. This approach highlights the direct correlation between the division in which the team competes and its financial performance, as well as the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on its income-generating capacity. In addition, the study incorporates financial ratios to assess the club’s operational and structural health, revealing a loss of operating capacity and a weakening of its financial stability. Despite maintaining a loyal fan base and strong sponsorship support, the club has struggled to adapt its financial model to its new competitive context. As a conclusion, the study stresses the importance of adopting a more strategic and sustainable financial approach, emphasizing the diversification of income streams, better cost control, and long-term planning. These measures are essential for ensuring the future viability of the institution and for supporting its return to professional football.

This Final Degree Project deals with the automation of business processes through the use of RPA (Robotic Process Automation) technology. Its main objective is to enable anyone, even without technical knowledge, to understand what RPA is and how its implementation can benefit businesses. A theoretical framework is presented that clearly explains how RPA systems work, their evolution, and their current applications in different sectors. This is followed by a practical case study: the creation of a bot that automates the process of reading and recording invoices received in a spreadsheet, using the open-source tool n8n.

In this Final Degree Project, an introduction to Leontief's Input-Output tables has been carried out in order to later use them in the analysis of the Galician productive structure. Its mathematical foundations, its origins from the Supply and Use tables (SUTs) as well as its different applications within the economic field have been indicated, both from the descriptive approach and from the modelling approach. Finally, we have concluded with the analysis of the productive structure by using a variant of the Rasmussen indices to know the typology of the productive branches in 2021 and by making a comparison with the typology of these same sectors in 2016.

Summary
This paper analyzes the economic, social, and environmental impact of the establishment of the Greenfiber (Altri) factory in Palas de Rei, with a particular focus on the use of water from the Portodemouros reservoir, located within the Ulla River basin. The main focus is the study of water as an economic good and its management and valuation in Galicia, through the existing institutional and legal framework. For the direct analysis of the factory, both the technical and administrative reports linked to the Environmental Impact Assessment were examined, along with the perspective of the developer and that of independent bodies such as the Consello da Cultura Galega. The analysis concludes that, although the plant’s water consumption and discharges fall within legal limits, there are uncertainties regarding their cumulative effects downstream, particularly in the Ría de Arousa. Additionally, the hypothesis (later rejected) was considered that industrial activity could reduce reservoir releases and thereby mitigate damage to shellfish beds. Finally, the company’s fiscal contribution through the water levy is assessed, along with its implications for the economic and environmental sustainability of the affected area.

Summary
In recent years, online commerce has become popular, becoming one of the usual forms of shopping for consumers. But this, in turn, brings with it certain risks such as online fraud. That is why, through this Bachelor's Thesis, an analysis is carried out of consumer behavior in Spain when making online purchases and how cybersecurity affects them from an intergenerational point of view. In order to carry out this study, 100 people were surveyed; 99 valid responses were obtained. After analyzing the data provided, it was concluded that the younger respondents tend to worry less about risks on the Internet. Whereas older generations tend to be more cautious and take more measures during their online shopping process. Therefore, intergenerational differences are confirmed both in consumption and in the cybersecurity employed.

Summary
Aluminios Cortizo is a Galician company founded in 1985, operating in the metallurgical sector of aluminium and PVC manufacturing, with a strong international presence. The aim of this study was to carry out an economic and financial analysis of the company over three consecutive fiscal years (2021 to 2023), and then compare it with the analysis of two other companies in the sector located in Padrón and nearby areas: Exlabesa Extrusión Padrón S.L. and Extrusionados Galicia S.A.. To this end, we conducted several structural analyses based on balance sheets and income statements, as well as the calculation of multiple indicators and ratios, which we later used to compare with the other two companies. Finally, we produced a diagnosis of the company to identify which improvement proposals could be suitable for Cortizo. The report was divided into three sections: an introduction to the company under study, an external and internal analysis, and finally, the economic and financial analysis. Aluminios Cortizo is the best positioned of the three, with a solid financial situation. We will see that over the years it has consolidated a high proportion of non-current assets along with a significant amount of equity, thanks to an increase in reserves, in addition to strong results in terms of solvency, liquidity, and debt ratios. The paper has 9.995 words.

Summary
The objective of this final degree project is to design and analyze the viability of Altea Senior Care, a business project aimed at creating a nursing home specializing in the care of seniors with cognitive impairment in Galicia. The proposal is based on a model of humanized care, high-quality care, and innovation, aiming to respond distinctively and sustainably to the growing needs of this group. Through a comprehensive approach, the strategic, commercial, technical, and economic-financial aspects that support the project's viability are studied. The work is structured progressively to assess the overall viability of the Altea Senior Care project. It begins with the definition of the business idea, its objectives, key resources, and target market. The overall and competitive environment is then analyzed using strategic tools such as PESTEL analysis and Porter's Five Forces model, complemented by a study of relevant competitors in Galicia. Based on this, the project's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats are identified, developing an appropriate strategy based on a SWOT analysis and the CAME model. Commercial viability is then examined in-depth, addressing the marketing plan, positioning, and demand estimation. Technical aspects of the project are also evaluated, such as legal form, location, facilities, and processes. Finally, a complete economic and financial analysis is presented, including the initial investment, financing, accounting forecasts, expected profitability, and risk assessment, allowing for an assessment of the project's sustainability and return on investment in the medium term. The study concludes that Altea Senior Care is a viable and innovative project, with a positive economic and social impact in Galicia and a sustainable business response to the challenge of the aging population.

Summary
Currently, there are numerous alternative economic models to what is traditionally known as the linear economy. The circular economy has emerged as an alternative to the traditional model, positioning itself as a more prosperous economy with strong long-term growth potential. This paper presents an analysis and review of the principles and characteristics of this economic model. To fully understand the adaptation of the circular economy, it is essential to examine the main public policies that support it. Additionally, an analysis of key indicators is carried out to assess the progress of the model within the European Union's economy. Moreover, the paper describes the evolution of the circular economy in key sectors and, finally, presents a real case study of the company Philips, focusing on the measures implemented, the main objectives, and the results achieved through the adoption of this economic model.

COREN S. Coop. Galega is one of the most relevant agri-food cooperatives in Spain. This work analyses its economic and financial performance from 2018 to 2022 and systematically compares it with El Pozo Alimentacion, S.A., a leading company in the national meat sector. Using horizontal and vertical analysis of balance sheets and income statements, together with key ratios of solvency, liquidity, leverage, profitability and efficiency, a comprehensive diagnosis of both entities has been produced. The results show that, although COREN's model is strongly rooted in its territory, vertically integrated and sustainability minded, its profitability and operating efficiency are clearly lower than those of El Pozo, whose financial structure is more solid and profitable. COREN stands out for its commitment to differentiated products and sustainability but faces challenges such as high leverage, limited financial autonomy and reduced margins. To compete more effectively, COREN must strengthen financial professionalisation, optimise working capital, improve margins through innovation and consolidate its internationalisation, combining its social function with more efficient, long-term management.

Summary
In this undergraduate thesis, we analyze gender inequalities in the Spanish labor market, focusing on occupational segregation, the wage gap, and the invisible role of care work. Through an approach that combines statistical analysis and the perspective of feminist economics, we aim to shed light on the multiple dimensions that make up the structural inequality affecting women in the workplace. We review key concepts such as horizontal and vertical segregation, the glass ceiling, unpaid care work, and the Dissimilarity Index, with a focus on recent data from official sources such as the INE (National Statistics Institute), Eurostat, and the EPA (Labour Force Survey). The theoretical framework includes contributions from prominent feminist economists such as Nancy Folbre, Marilyn Waring, and Lourdes Benería, thereby strengthening the foundation of our analysis. In the empirical section, we examine the evolution of various gender indicators from 2010 to 2025, disaggregated by sector, autonomous community, and levels of occupational responsibility. We also include charts based on official data that show how, despite certain advances, significant gaps persist in access to managerial positions, the distribution of working time, and wages. The thesis concludes that policies cannot be limited to promoting female employment, but must instead address the structural roots of inequality, including the value of care work, reformulating indicators, and promoting social co-responsibility. Only in this way can we move toward real and effective equality in the workplace.

Summary
This work analyzes the evolution of Galician livestock farming in the 20th century through a combined approach that integrates historical contextualization and the life story of a farmer from Ourense, Paquiño del Alma. The main objective is to understand how agrarian modernization processes developed from the ground up, exploring the active role of small-scale producers in adapting to, resisting, or appropriating technological and productive transformations. To achieve this, a qualitative methodology was adopted, centered on oral history as the primary source, through an in-depth interview with the protagonist, complemented by a critical review of specialized bibliography and the analysis of secondary sources. The work is structured in three sections: a macroeconomic contextualization of agrarian changes in Galicia, an analysis of the main agribusiness companies that promoted the industrial model, and finally, the case study, which serves as the guiding thread and mirror of the experience from below. The results show that, despite the concentration and industrialization processes promoted by agrarian policies and large companies, there were alternative and autonomous paths like Paquiño's, based on self-sufficiency, practical knowledge of the environment, and direct sales, without dependence on external production chains. His experience offers a critical and complementary vision of agrarian modernization, where innovation also emerges from the territory and accumulated practice, not only from industry. This approach allows for a more complex, plural, and humanized reading of Galician agrarian development, recognizing the importance of individual decisions in shaping productive models and questioning the idea of a single, top-down, and linear modernization.

Summary
The aim of this work is to carry out an empirical study on fish consumption habits among young Galicians aged 18 to 30. To this end, the following variables are studied: frequency, expenditure, preferences, conditioning factors and nutritional perception, among others. The structure is made up of a brief introduction, the justification of the facts examined, the statement of the problem and hypotheses, the objectives analysed, the review of the literature, the theoretical framework, the methodology of the study, the analysis of the variables mentioned, the discussion of the results and, finally, the conclusions and proposals. The study of the different variables that affect and analyse fish consumption among young Galicians between 18 and 30 years of age is based on the data collected in the questionnaire, which was carefully designed and shared among the Galician population in this age range, and which allows us to confirm the information provided on the fish consumption habits of the current young population. Finally, it is worth highlighting among the conclusions obtained that current fish consumption among young people is below the health recommendations and it is vitally important to reactivate the link between this age group and fish. The paper is 9,954 words long, excluding the title page, abstract and bibliography.

Summary
This Bachelor's Thesis addresses the issue of residential location from an economic, social, and environmental perspective. The research focuses on the factors that influence the decisions families make when choosing their place of residence, considering not only economic elements such as housing prices, but also social factors and quality of life. The selection of a home location depends not only on accessibility and cost, but this decision is also influenced by lifestyle, available services, and the characteristics of each environment. The analysis identifies three places of residence for families linked to different socioeconomic situations: suburban areas, which are characterized by being somewhat far from city centers, such as bedroom communities; urban zones located in urban centers; and rural environments situated in remote areas core population centers. Each of these presents different residential preferences that correspond to each income level, quality of the environment, accessibility to services... Moreover, the work includes current approaches such as the concept of city branding, a growing trend in contemporary urbanism, where cities compete to attract both tourists and new residents. This phenomenon is linked to the rise of remote work, which has changed how families value residential location, allowing greater flexibility in choosing where to live. The phenomenon of gentrification will also be discussed, along with its negative and positive aspects for society. Finally, the work proposes a series of recommendations to improve the quality of life for families, with an emphasis on decentralization policies, environmental sustainability, and support for entrepreneurship..

Summary
This work focuses on the analysis of the most common commercial contracts in the economic sphere, sale, agency, distribution and commission. It examines their characteristics, legal nature, the rights and obligations of the parties involved, and the essential elements that constitute them, as well as their impact on commercial relationships. Additionally, it provides information on the recent economic impact of commercial distribution in Spain. The sales contract is presented as the key agreement in commercial transactions, highlighting its regulation and the protections offered to both parties. The agency contract is analyzed as a continuous relationship, with particular emphasis on commission-based remuneration and the agents responsibilities. The distribution contract is explored as a mechanism that allows for the outsourcing of commercial operations, while the commission contract is studied as an agreement in which the commission agent acts on behalf of another party, seeking benefits without assuming direct risks. In this way, the study offers a comprehensive overview of commercial distribution contracts and their relevance to trade and the economy.

The present paper, with an extension of 6,417 words, addresses the study of distribution contracts, essential tools in the commercial strategy of organizations that seek to expand their reach. Once the action of distribution has been explained, for a better understanding of the work, the analysis of the ways in which the company will deliver its products to the final consumer: the distribution channels will be deepened. The length of the channels, the services they create for both the manufacturer and the consumer and their legal mission will be analysed. Then, the different types of existing distribution contracts will be explored: exclusive, selective, extensive and franchised. Each of the above modalities will be analyzed in detail, highlighting their particularities, advantages and disadvantages. Finally, the possible causes of termination of the distribution contract and the causes of conflicts arising from the lack of legal regulations will be mentioned, including the most frequent possible indemnities for maladministration of the agreement. This analysis aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the different distribution contracts, thus facilitating an understanding of their operation and relevance in today’s business environment.

Summary
This work analyzes the role of public policies in promoting sustainable mobility in Spain, focusing on Program 42AB (Incentive Plan for the Installation of Charging Points, Acquisition of Electric and Fuel Cell Vehicles, and Innovation in Electromobility, Charging, and Green Hydrogen)(42AB.C01.I02) and the various editions of the MOVES Plan. Framed within the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan and aligned with the European Green Deal and the National Energy and Climate Plan (NECP). These measures aim to promote the electrification of transportation and the expansion of charging infrastructure. This policy is contextualized within the European and national regulatory frameworks through a theoretical approach. Its technical and budgetary characteristics are described, and its impact is evaluated based on the criteria of efficiency, equity, and effectiveness. The analysis reveals that, although the MOVES Plan has contributed to the increase in electric vehicle registrations, significant structural limitations still persist: territorial inequalities, administrative slowness, low execution of charging infrastructure, and limited social progressivity of the subsidies. The work includes a comparison with European cases and proposes recommendations to improve the design and future implementation of electromobility promotion policies, emphasizing administrative simplification, equity in access to subsidies, and improved coordination between levels of government. Overall, a strategy for more equitable, effective, and coherent mobility is proposed, which facilitates the progressive fulfillment of the climate commitments set for 2030 and 2050.

This Final Degree Project presents the development of the commercial plan for Renim, a sustainable fashion brand based on the upcycling of denim garments. The main objective is to study the feasibility of creating a brand that gives a second life to fabrics through redesign and customization, following an ethical and creative approach. To this end, current trends in the sustainable fashion sector have been analyzed throughout the project by means of market analysis. The profile of the potential consumer has also been studied in order to understand the target audience and their needs. Likewise, the competitive environment has been evaluated by identifying similar brands and their strategies in order to differentiate Renim’s value proposition. A SWOT analysis has also been carried out to support the development of the project's implementation plan. In the commercial plan, the brand identity has been developed by defining its values within the sustainable fashion sector. Objectives have been established, as well as an implementation and control plan to achieve them. The target customer profile has also been defined, along with a coherent marketing mix strategy aligned with our principles, including an action and control plan to move forward in an organized and realistic way. In conclusion, the project demonstrates that it is possible to launch a sustainable fashion initiative with limited resources, by reusing discarded materials and offering differentiated products within a context of responsible consumption.
