It has nine classrooms for teaching equipped with video projection systems with a capacity of between 25 and 140 places and two computer rooms equipped with 25 and 18 places. For experimental training, there are eight laboratories that are constantly being modernised. Other areas of common use are the library, newspaper library, study room (144 places), students' room, two meeting rooms and main hall (135 places). There is wireless network access (wifi) throughout the building. The main building has a cafeteria.
The Faculty of Physics is made up of blocks I-V distributed between the main building (I-III) and the Monte da Condesa building (IV-V), separated by about 200 m.
