Radioisotopes and Radiological Protection Area

The Radioisotopes and Radiological Protection area provides support to members of the university community who use ionizing radiation sources in their activities. Any member of the university community who wishes to use ionizing radiation sources in their research or teaching activities should contact the Radiological Protection Service in order to be informed about the risks involved, the means to minimise their consequences and to be put in contact with the supervisor of the corresponding Authorised Radioactive Facility (IRA).
