Microtomographic analysis

X-ray microtomography used to scan the microstructure of objects up to 5 cm with a minimum resolution of 0.45 µm.

Equipment

• Bruker Skyscan 1272 X-ray microtomograph.

Chargeable services:

• Microtomographic recording: measurement [hour].
• Microtomographic recording: processing [hour].

CBCT Tomographic Analysis

Cone beam X-ray tomography used to scan the structure of objects up to 25 cm with a minimum resolution of 0.125 mm.

Equipment

• CBCT I-CAT Microtomograph

• CBCT tomographic register [unit] [batches> 10 u.].

CAT Tomographic analysis

X-ray computed axial tomography used to scan objects up to 1 m long with a z-resolution of 0.6 mm.

Equipment

Hitachi Eclos 16 tomograph. (Equipment of the Rof Codina University Veterinary Hospital with which there is a collaboration agreement for non-clinical use).

The equipment is only available through the Research Infrastructures Area for non-clinical use.
