NextGeneration Office

The NextGeneration Office is a service responsible for centralising and processing information on the execution of EU subsidies and grants under the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF), as well as for promoting the necessary actions to streamline the absorption and execution of European funds.

To this end, it aims to streamline the bidirectional transfer of economic information between the USC systems and the state systems, so that this process can be carried out in a fast, efficient and secure way. Additionally, it aims to support research structures and research staff regarding RRF-funded grants, including a prior assessment of their viability and monitoring their processing.

The NextGeneration Office reports to the USC Management, coordinated by the General Technical Vice-manager, the heads of the Areas of Research Management, Scientific Promotion and Strategy, and the head of the Economic Sub-Area, for the purpose of supervising and monitoring the Office.
