Ray source.
Equipped with:
- Two-circle theta/theta goniometer. With pedestal for measurement in transmission and reflection modes.
- Cu anode Xr tube (λ= 0.154nm).
- Solid state detector (‘silicon strip’) LINXEYE-2 type.
- Platforms:
- Automatic changer for 9 samples for measurements in reflection or transmission modes with rotating sample, ‘Flip-Stick’ type.
- XYZ platform for placement and orientation of irregular samples (less than 2 kg) and to be able to work in micro-diffraction mode. Double laser device, with camera for positioning the analysis points.
- Optics:
- Primary: to choose between variable divergence apertures for Bragg-Brentano or Göbel mirror for parallel beam geometry.
- Secondary: variable divergence aperture convertible to a 0.2 degree Soller collimator.
- Micro-diffraction: Collimators of different thickness to have an impact on a micrometric surface (0.1, 0.3, 0.5 or 1 mm diameter), which can be incorporated into a Göbel-type optic.
