Its objective is to stimulate students to reflect on the social and economic application of the knowledge contained in their PhD and Bachelor's thesis (TFG) and Master's (TFM) thesis work.
It is aimed at the entire university community of the Santiago de Compostela and Lugo campuses and includes all areas of knowledge taught at the University of Santiago de Compostela, with awards established in three categories:

- Health Sciences
- Social and Legal Sciences
- Engineering and Architecture
