Faculty
The list of professors participating in the PhD program of Chemical and Environmental Engineering is of a total of 29. The distribution of the teaching staff by categories appears and the following: 60% of the teaching staff is official PDI, with a decrease in the 2013 courses -14 to 2017-18 that were due to the effect of the crisis, since the retirements of the official personnel were covered by labor personnel. We evaluated the figures of the PDI-Official, 30-26% is composed of university professors and 32-26% by university professors, with a decline over these years by retirement. The percentage of teachers hired is 30-35% and approximately 10-16% are made up of researchers from the Ramón y Cajal program and others who can be assimilated.

Táboa resumo das liñas de investigación e profesorado (en extinción)
Researching is one of the main goals of the Department. In our Department we consider that research promotion is the only way to guarantee teaching quality, improvement in the different academic fields and knowledge transfer to other sectors of society.
The Department is composed of a series of different Research Groups that develop their activities in the facilities that are available. The Research Groups are the only mechanism that the Department has in order to organize and manage researching activities.
GI-1612 PROSUST. Process intensification for a sustainable development
GI-1613 BIOGROUP. Environmental Biotechnology
GI-1616 EQUIPHASE. Sustainable Separation Processes
GI-1618 TIBD. Technologies for industrial bioproducts development
GI-1620 Environmental Modelling
GI-1621 PPTP. Physical Properties and Transfer Processes
GI-2058 PRODES. Sustainable Process and Product Engineering and Management
GI-2160 TECH-CENAS. TECHnologies for Circular Economy and NAtural Security
