CE01- Overall vision of the company and its environment, which allows diagnosing and understanding complex problems, analyzing them and making appropriate decisions, being aware of their scope.
Expositive sessions will be dedicated to expose the basic contents of the syllabus, emphasizing the most important topics and the relationship between them. Students will put in practice theoretical concepts, through case studies, articles and debates about different topics presented by the teacher. Besides, students must prepare a group project about a topic and present it orally. Doing so, cooperation, communication and discussion skills will be encouraged. Students’ individual work includes study, reading articles provided by the teacher, looking up information in the library, newspaper library or data bases, and the preparation of a project. The tutoring time will be used to orient students on the case studies, readings and presentations, as well as to solve doubts and problems.
The development of the course will be carried out with the support of the virtual classroom created for this purpose on the Moodle platform.
This course will use a combination of readings, case studies and lectures. Theoretical knowledge will be assessed by an exam.
a) 50% exam.
b) 25% active participation during the case study and reading discussion sessions.
c) 25 % presentation of the project.
To get to sum b) and c), the minimum grade in the exam must be 2 over 5 points.
The overall grade must be 5 points or more in a ten scale to pass the subject.
Students must attend to 80% of the lectures and workshops.
Following the Instruction Nº 1/2017 of Secretaría Xeral, students who are exempt from attendance in certain situations will be evaluated with a final exam (100%). Exemption from attendance must be authorized in advance by the university.
In cases of fraudulent exercises or exam, the provisions of the Regulations for the evaluation of student academic performance and review of grades will be applied.

– Continuous assessment: CT01, CT02, CT03, CT05, CT06, CE01
This is a six-credit course and each credit is equivalent to 25 hours.
Hours will be distributed in the following way:
– Contact hours (expositive, interactive, tutoring and assessment): 48
– Students’ individual work: 102
For a better understanding, students must do the readings before the classes.
Students must attend lectures and workshops.
