The objectives of this course focus on the practical application, within a business project environment, of the knowledge, skills, and competencies acquired by the student during the Master's program.
To achieve this objective, a 3 ECTS credits internship will be carried out in a company developing tasks related to the IoT field applied to Society 5.0 environments.
The course does not have specific content, as it will depend on the project developed in the company. However, the work performed must be related to the IoT field applied to Society 5.0 environments.
The course does not use specific bibliography.
Upon completion of the course, the student should acquire the following competencies and skills:
CMP10: Gain experience in the design, implementation, deployment, and maintenance of IoT systems within a real work environment. Type: Competencies.
HBL12: Apply the acquired knowledge and solve problems in new or little-known environments within broader and multidisciplinary contexts, being able to integrate knowledge. Type: Skills or abilities.
HBL13: Communicate (orally and in writing) conclusions, as well as the knowledge and underlying reasons that support them, to specialized and non-specialized audiences in a clear and unambiguous manner. Type: Skills or abilities.
HBL14: Predict and control the evolution of complex situations through the development of new and innovative work methodologies adapted to the specific scientific/research, technological, or professional context, generally multidisciplinary, in which their activity is developed. CMP13: Assume responsibility for one's own professional development and specialization in one or more fields of study continuously, self-directedly, and autonomously. Type: Competencies.
Learning based on professional practice. Tutoring will be provided by the faculty of the master's program and the company's staff.
Evaluation of final reports (activity report of the internship). These reports will be evaluated by the academic tutor and will have a weight of 70% in the final grade.
Report from the professional tutor. This report, prepared by the student's tutor in the company, will have a weight of 30% in the final grade.
The subject will involve 75 hours of work in the company, including the preparation of the final report of activities.
