Type II water dispenser equipment. Electro-deionised water.
Produces purified water from mains water by combining different purification techniques.
The water produced is stored in a tank, to be used later, either as deionised water in standard laboratory applications or to feed a Milli-Q type ultrapure water system.
The incoming water first passes through the Progard pre-treatment module, which is designed to retain any particles and chlorine present, as well as to prevent any build-up of precipitates.
The pressurised water is then treated by reverse osmosis to produce intermediate quality water.
This water then enters the Y.D.I. electro-deionisation module, where a further purification phase takes place, which further reduces the content of organic and mineral contaminants.
The produced water is stored in a polyethylene tank designed to minimise the risk of contamination during storage.
Apparatus performance:
- Typical minimum ionic rejection: 97%-94%
- Particulate removal: >99%
- Micro-organism removal: >99%
- Organic matter removal: >99%
- Silica removal: >99%
- Resistivity: 10-15 MΩ•cm.
A Type II or higher quality water is obtained.
Drinking water supply and is the ideal feed for any laboratory equipment.
