Teaching and Research Staff Planning Department

The Teaching and Research Staff Planning Department is responsible for assessing the needs of teaching and research staff, preparing and maintaining the list of job positions and the comprehensive management of the different procedures for the recruitment and filling of teaching and research staff posts, both by civil servants and contracted staff.

It also provides technical and administrative support to the recruitment committees and to the claims and review committees. In the management area, it is responsible for proposing resolutions on various issues related to the working life of the teaching staff. This Department is responsible for drafting regulatory proposals, reports, managing the supporting documentation for decision-making by the governing bodies and, in general, supplying relevant information to other units and internal and external bodies of the USC and providing technical support to the Vice-Chancellor’s Office in charge of teaching and research personnel policy.
