The internships aim to apply acquired knowledge and skills during this Master in a real work setting.
To this end, the work will be carried out in a professional real setting (a company or institution in the field of AI) in which relevant knowledge and skills are applied.
Due to the purpose of this subject, it is not possible to establish specific contents in advance. Contents will depend on the topic of the work to be developed during the internship, which must necessarily be related to the contents and competencies developed within the scope of the Master program.
No specific bibliography. Student will have to search relevant bibliography for the topic of the selected internship.
The specific competencies to be developed during the internship may depend on the specific topic to work on.
The competencies to be worked on in the internships include (see Memoria título):
Basic: CB7, CB8 and CB9.
General: CG1, CG2, CG4 and CG5.
Transversal: CT1, CT3, CT5, CT6, CT7, CT8 and CT9.
Specific: CE27 and CE28.
Students must attend the annual call by which internship positions are presented and regulated, following the procedures and deadlines established therein.
The particular teaching methods and methodologies will depend on the organizational/business culture of the collaborating entity in which the external practice is carried out, as well as the topic or problems being addressed. In any case, it will be necessary to write the final activity report.
Students must necessarily attend the activities that are scheduled for the preparation of the selection processes and industry forums/talks. The final mark will be based on the report issued by the collaborating entity where the internship took place and the assessment by the academic tutor of the final activities report.
The time to be devoted to this subject will be 150 hours, including the writing of the final activities report.
The Academic Commission of the Master degree in Artificial Intelligence is responsible for ensuring the correct development of all aspects related to this subject.
