The Terra Campus is a member of the AESAN OA Scientific Committee, through representation by Professor Azucena Mora Gutiérrez.

The Terra Campus is part of the Factory Farming sub-group of the Expert Group for Technical Advice on Organic Production (EGTOP), through representation by the researcher Ana Isabel Barreiro Buján.

The IPSI is an organisation sponsored by Japan’s Ministry of the Environment and the United Nations University’s Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability (UNU-IAS). The Terra Campus is a regular collaborator with this organisation, through its representation by Professor Emilio Rafael Díaz Varela

For the second time, the Terra Campus is participating in the EIP-AGRI consortium, which has been awarded a framework services agreement for the European Commission’s Common Agricultural Policy (CAP). The aim is to facilitate compliance with the EU’s policies, in order to drive innovation in the agriculture and forestry sectors, and as a way of making connections between the worlds of research and production in those industries. Four researchers from the Terra Campus are currently participating in this association: Francisco José Ónega López, Beatriz Guimarey Fernández, Rocío Losada Iglesias, and Xurxo Loureiro Veira.

The Terra Campus is participating in the Crusoe Network, which has the aim of encouraging regional development and intellectual specialisation in southwestern Europe, as part of the working group for Competitive Agrifood Systems. The Director of the Institute of Agricultural Biodiversity and Rural Development (IBADER), Pablo Ramil Rego, participates in this network, and specifically in innovation and research activities based on the Horizon Europe 2023-2024 Work Programme - Cluster 6: Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture, and Environment, and the EIC Pathfinder funding programme.

AGILE is an association that offers a forum for researchers and educators who work with geographical information, to promote interaction and sharing of ideas. The Terra Campus is represented by the researcher David Miranda Barros, who is an expert in Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and also Director of the Terra Campus Territorial Information System Platform.

The Terra Campus participates in the International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS) Temperate Tree Nuts Division, with the USC’s Professor Santiago Pereira Lorenzo serving as Vice-Chair of that division.

The Terra Campus participates in the FAO’s Global Alliance for Climate-Smart Agriculture (GACSA). This is an organisation that benefits from the participation of more than 500 institutions worldwide, with Professor Rosa Mosquera leading the Enabling Environment working group.

The Terra Campus, through representation by Professor Rosa Mosquera Losada, serves as the Spanish leader for the Flagship Agroecology & Agroforestry Project sponsored by the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture as part of the Global Research Alliance. This organisation includes participation by 67 government ministries from various countries around the world.

Since 2020, through representation by Professor César Pérez Cruzado, the Terra Campus has been a member of the Alternate Representative for Spain in the IUFRO, and also a representative in the IUFRO for Multipurpose Forest Management.

The Terra Campus is a member of the World Network of Biosphere Reserves, through representation by Professor Pablo Ramil Rego, who is also Director of the Agrarian Biodiversity and Rural Development Institute (IBADER).
