What is it?
An event aimed at showcasing the work of researchers from this Campus and promoting Galician as a language of communication and scientific outreach.
Through 10-minute talks, participants will share aspects of their field of research or one of the projects they are currently working on.
Who can take part?
DivúlgaT is open to anyone with ties to the Lugo Campus. This includes the following profiles:
Students enrolled in PhD programmes at the Lugo Campus or currently working on a PhD thesis linked to them.
Students completing their Master’s dissertation in degrees taught at the Lugo Campus.
Members of research groups affiliated with the Lugo Campus (including principal investigators, research collaborators, external contributors, grant holders, contracted staff, and others).
How to register to participate?
If you would like to be one of the speakers presenting your research work, you have until 22 October 2023 to complete this [registration form].
When is the event?
Thursday 23 and Thursday 30 November, from 7:30 p.m., at the Vello Cárcere in Lugo.
Attendance is free and open to all, whether you are participating or just attending as a member of the audience. However, as seating is limited, you will need to reserve your seat in advance through a link that will be provided soon on the website and social media channels.
Training
As in previous years, registering entitles participants to attend a free science communication workshop, delivered by Andrea Muras, finalist of the 2019 FameLab Spain competition and author of the book La guerra contra las superbacterias (The War Against Superbugs).
Recognition
Participation in DivúlgaT, as well as attendance at the training workshop, will be recognised with a certificate issued by the Vice-Rectorate for Academic Organisation and the Lugo Campus, and the Language Normalisation Service.
In addition, a book of abstracts will be published, highlighting the key points of all participants’ talks.
