Summary
The main project and origin of this Bachelor's Thesis is an audiovisual adaptation of the children's song Silencios Azuis, resulting in a 4-minute and 21-second music video featuring two performers and dancers. For its production, the typical methodology of an audiovisual work was followed: pre-production, production, and post-production. This project is accompanied by additional audiovisual material in the form of a making-of, which serves both as a record of the creative process and as an artistic piece in its own right. Both audiovisual works are complemented by a written document which, in addition to presenting the research framework on which the video is based, includes its literary and visual-aesthetic background, offering a detailed account of the creative processes involved. The main objective is to propose a new creative and entertaining format derived from already existing projects: Lingua Guapa. Cantos que contan, a book-album by Fina Casalderrey and Néstor Blanco, and Imos Cambiar o Mundo, a live show based on the same.

Summary
With the expansion of new technologies, social media has become a decisive space for fandoms to share interests, but also to criticize negligent industry practices. One of these practices is queerbaiting, initially understood as a marketing strategy that promises LGBTIQ+ representation and fails to deliver. Eve Ng (2017) proposes an evolution of this concept, focusing on the expectations of queer audiences and their satisfaction or frustration. In this context, the study analyzes the case of the series Agatha All Along (2024), which generated debate in social media due to its queer representation through the characters of Agatha and Rio. The research examines the text, subtext and paratexts (official and unofficial) of the series, as well as the social context surrounding queer fandom. The methodology combines qualitative techniques to analyze narrative and social content, and quantitative techniques to measure the impact of network publications. The results show that, despite the fact that the queer relationship became canon, the fandom’s expectations were not met by the series. Although the fans did not directly qualify the series as queerbaiting, from Ng’s (2017) point of view, it can be interpreted as such, thus consolidating the view of the phenomenon as one dependent on queer reception and not only on narrative intention.

Summary
This research addresses the true crime phenomenon, specifically non-fiction TV series and documentaries on streaming platforms such as Netflix, HBO, and Prime Video. With the aim of determining their influence on public opinion, a content analysis of two series and three documentaries focusing on three specific criminal cases was conducted to provide a broader view of the media's portrayal of real crimes. A documentary analysis of studies related to the field of true crime, parallel trials, and journalistic ethics was also conducted. Through this analysis, a clear misrepresentation of the real facts was observed in the cases analyzed. An attempt was perceived to foster sensationalism and controversy through narrative bias, characterization, and dramatized reconstructions to increase audience ratings.

Summary
The present thesis is an exploratory and qualitative design research that aims to study the influence, importance and impact of sensory marketing in the communication established by brands with consumers. After a systematic review of the literature, the theoretical bases were established to analyze a total of five case studies that investigate how the five types of sensory marketing (tactile or haptic, visual, olfactory, auditory and gustatory) influence decision making, differentiation, brand identity, perception and loyalty, addressing aspects such as memory and memories, the meaning of colors, nostalgia, odotypes and sonotypes, among others. After obtaining the results, there are several hypotheses that are confirmed and that demonstrate the relevance that sensory marketing can have in how brands communicate and offer their products to consumers, those who no longer demand an object that satisfies a need, but pursue shopping experiences that awaken emotions and appeal to the senses, whether consciously or unconsciously.

Summary
In recent times, the number of anterior cruciate ligament ruptures in football has increased considerably, a fact that has made this injury a major problem for the different and numerous actors involved in this sport -clubs, coaching staff, players- at all levels: professional, semi-professional and amateur. The present research has two main objectives: to discover the reasons that have led to the increase of the aforementioned injury and to expose possible improvements or solutions to curb the problem. By means of a bibliographic review of the scarce existing research on the subject and, above all, by collecting the points of view of experts from different fields related to the issue, the work exposes some causes of the increase of ACL ruptures in football and proposes possible ways to reduce the impact of the injury. The choice of the investigative journalistic report format responds to the aim of seeking to present the information obtained in an accessible and understandable way for the general public, with the aim of helping to curb the problem by providing people with valuable knowledge to do so.

Summary
This project consists of the creation of a dramatic fiction miniseries and the production of its pilot episode. Ao Ritmo de Golpes narrates the story of five women Carme, Malena, Majo, Ana and Cecilia from a female perspective that presents the characters as autonomous, with their own voice and complex life trajectories, based on the theories of authors such as Janice Loreck or Laura Mulvey. The narrative is structured in two timelines: one in the present and one in the past. Ana and Cecilia, the protagonists of the present, are the daughters of Carme and Malena, respectively. Through a discovery, they begin the investigation into the relationship that united their mothers during the Movida Viguesa, intertwining this investigation with the timeline present on the screen. The series addresses a secret love story between Malena and Carme, and how this relationship conditions their current lives and those of their daughters. Cecilia and Ana, through a university project, reveal disputes, love entanglements and family misadventures from the past that remain latent in the present of several characters. The project began with a process of co-creating the story arc of the season, where all the key points of the love relationship and the subplots that would make up the story were defined. Once these plots were established, a non-linear narrative was chosen that narrates the story from beginning to end. From this outline, the script of the first chapter was developed, which would correspond to the episode that is presented together with this document.

Summary
Artificial intelligence is a technological field that is advancing by leaps and bounds. The integration of this technology into journalistic routines presents a wide range of opportunities and challenges. In the African context, these challenges are intensified by the digital divide and the lack of data representativeness, although the most significant factor is the introduction of algorithms designed in the West. This research aims to analyze the impact of artificial intelligence on the media landscape of the African continent, focusing on algorithmic bias and its influence on the production and dissemination of news content. Through a thematic analysis of various organizations working to promote the inclusion of artificial intelligence in Africa, the study explores concepts such as technological decolonization, algorithmic ethics, and media literacy. The goal is to offer an analysis of the different projects developed by these organizations and their potential integration into the African media ecosystem.

Summary
Contemporary documentary and queer theories converge in this study about the mise-en-scène of auteur documentaries produced over the past fifteen years. Focusing on The Ballad of Genesis and Lady Jaye (Marie Losier, 2011) and in other four films made between 2022 and 2024: Anhell69 (Theo Montoya, 2022), Orlando, ma biographie politique (Paul B. Preciado, 2023), ASOG (Seán Devlin, 2023), and Desire Lines (Jules Rosskam, 2024), an unequal sample that understands gender as “performative”. That the filmic form of these works conveys the queer experience to the mise-en-scène, subverting binary and cisheteropatriarchal norms. These films dislocate the portrayal of the Other to integrate it into a shared “multitude,” challenging hegemonic norms surrounding gender. The study examines how these films establish a queer discourse and aesthetics through a hybrid and performative documentary form, with common elements such as the embodiment of subjectivity, archival work, and a dreamlike dimension. Nevertheless, the five films reflect dissidences linked to their temporal, geographical, and authorial disparities. These works increasingly establish queer and “countersexual” forms, sometimes hermetic, which may limit their political potential. As an initial approach, this study explores new ways of analysing a cinema characterized by great richness and creativity.

Summary
Ctrl+Z is the pilot episode of a serialized fiction miniseries, the result of this final degree project. It consists of a comedic audiovisual project inspired by the real-life experiences of its creators during their university years while sharing an apartment. Combining elements of mockumentary, sitcom, and reality show, Ctrl+Z portrays life in a student apartment through humor and emotion, using a fragmented structure that alternates between interviews, flashbacks, and scenes in the present. Thanks to this structure, the characters remember and reflect on their experiences throughout their time at university.

Summary
This Final Degree Project shows a comparative analysis of the differences in brand communication between accessible streetwear and luxury streetwear brands based on the specific examples of Stüssy and Vetements, respectively. For this purpose, a systematic review of previous existing theories has been carried out, as well as an analysis of the current urban fashion scene. The methodology used combines in-depth interviews with professionals from the urban fashion sector in Spain and content analysis through an analysis sheet, establishing the first quarter of 2025 as the time period in order to ensure that the data is up to date. The main objective is to make a comparison of the communication of both brand categories, analysing both online and offline channels, target audience, market positioning and values that they seek to transmit. The result obtained shows that accessible streetwear brands use an approachable, accessible and dynamic tone to connect with a young audience while luxury streetwear brands adopt an enigmatic and sophisticated tone that seeks exclusivity to maintain a distance from their niche audience by focusing on quality and the concept itself.

Summary
For years, Galician society and history have been closely linked to movement and emigration. Whether through close relatives or acquaintances, most Galicians have ties with foreign countries or are directly affected by these migratory movements. Looking to the present, these changes continue to influence the daily lives of thousands of people. It is less and less strange to walk down the street and meet people of other nationalities. Most of them are not tourists, they have come to Galicia to settle and seek a better future for themselves and their families. The aim of this work is to create a transmedia project that helps to create a community of migrants. To carry out different interconnected projects that offer a safe and comfortable place where these people can tell their experiences and concerns. This project will be supported by a website where different interviews of our own creation will be published, social networks with shorter and more interesting publications, and face-to-face events, which will be developed over time.

Summary
This paper presents Entre corpos e clics, a multimedia report on prostitution in Galicia and Spain, which, due to its subject matter, is framed within social journalism. With an interactive website as its main axis, the project aims to show the reality of the prostitution system and the relationships it establishes with different spheres. To do so, the report includes interviews with people directly or indirectly related to prostitution, as well as the use of visualisations. This text analyses current trends in digital and social journalism, apart from investigating the situation of prostitution. The work process is explained in detail, in which research and production constitute a process of investigative journalism conditioned by the search for sources and their treatment with the confidentiality required by the subject matter. These phases, together with the recording, editing and finally layout, result in the presentation of the most complete possible vision of the current reality of the prostitution system.

Summary
The leap from journalism to the web implied a series of structural changes that marked a before and after in the conception and creation of news content. Digital journalism uses literary narrative techniques (a style that journalism had already adopted in the sixties under the name of New Journalism) in constant evolution and adaptation to the characteristics of the network (multimediality, hypertextuality and interactivity) in order to transmit stories in a way that they reach more effectively an audience flooded by the immediacy of information. This work explores the characteristics of the journalistic narration in long-format pieces (specifically, in interactive documentary) with the purpose of applying said knowledge to the elaboration of an interactive website (The legends of the Valley) in which stories and legends of the Monterrei Valley are collected. This website, which is formulated as a long-term project, includes interviews with professionals involved in the collection and transmission of oral heritage, a map that locates the legends whose origin is known and a form through which users can send uncollected traditional stories.

Summary
Although they have always been inherently linked, statistics have become fundamental to sports analysis in recent times. This article looks at the evolution of this profession and its new routines in a constantly changing digital landscape. This research seeks to understand how the emergence of specialised statistical tools such as Sofascore and Flashscore have transformed both journalism and sports information consumption habits. To this end, semi-structured interviews were conducted with professionals in the sector, a questionnaire was given to consumers, and a comparative analysis was carried out between statistical applications and journalists' assessments of player performance. The results show that, although these platforms offer valuable and objective data, they do not yet achieve the depth of journalistic analysis, especially in aspects that require subjective interpretation such as a player's emotional state, the significance of a match or various issues that go beyond the data itself. At the same time, it is confirmed that statistics are essential to enrich sports analysis, but they require proper contextualisation to have true informative value. Likewise, artificial intelligence is perceived as a complementary opportunity, provided that it enhances the work of journalists without replacing human judgement. Overall, the study reflects a profession in transition, where the critical integration of data and new technologies is key to the future of sports journalism.

Summary
This paper is based on the discursive analysis of four selected cases, analyzing ethics and pragmatism in Spanish political communication in different leaders and historical moments. In order to observe in detail the different texts, a study of the terms ethics and pragmatism is carried out, trying to delimit its border, placing it in the terms of persuasion and post-truth. In addition, this study investigates different theories and models of political analysis, such as framing and agenda-setting. Through a qualitative analysis, speeches by Adolfo Suárez (1977), Felipe González (1982), Mariano Rajoy (2011) and publications in the social network X (formerly Twitter) by Santiago Abascal (2024) are examined. The results obtained through this analysis confirm that from the democratic transition to the present, there has been an evolution from a discourse dominated by ethics to one with more pragmatic and strategic elements at present.

Summary
Open Doors is a documentary video podcast focused on the reception and integration of migrants in the city of A Coruña. With a population of 250,438 inhabitants, of which 7.6% are foreign nationals according to data from the Galician Institute of Statistics (2024), A Coruña is a good example for the study of the migration phenomenon. The main objective of this study is to discover to what extent the city of A Coruña facilitates the integration of people who arrive from other territories, specifically from Latin America, either by their own decision or due to forced circumstances. The research is based on two methodological pillars: on the one hand, interviews with people of different origins who currently reside in A Coruña; and on the other, a bibliographical review of academic sources. The interviews allow us to collect testimonies about experiences of arrival, adaptation and belonging, while the theoretical framework provides the necessary concepts to analyse these experiences from a critical perspective. The format chosen, a documentary video podcast, responds to the desire to make the work audiovisual, so that it is more accessible to people. Through five chapters, the project addresses issues such as access to housing and employment, support networks and participation in the social and cultural life of the city. Overall, Portas Abertas aims to contribute to a deeper understanding of the processes of reception in A Coruña, and the reasons that lead people from other countries to migrate.

Summary
The Nights is a black-and-white fiction medium-length film that explores themes such as the absence of love, the fear of the passage of time, uncertainty, personal recovery, and loneliness, while maintaining a focus on the hope for overcoming these challenges. The film places special emphasis on the importance of mental health, self-esteem, and the dangers of isolation, creating an intimate and subjective audiovisual experience. Through Alba's story, the short film addresses the grieving process and the effects of loss on daily life, depicting a cycle of nostalgia, guilt, and despair.

Summary
Since 2004, with the emergence of social networks, cyberjournalism, a term referring to journalism produced on the World Wide Web, has acquired greater viralisation and audience participation in the form of feedback. In 2023, the IBERIFIER project map identified 4106 cybermedia in Spain, of which 2869 were local or hyperlocal. The aim of this work is to study the online presence of five local cybermedia in the Galician city of Vigo (Vigoé, Metropolitano.gal, Xornal de Vigo e Comarcas, Radio Vigo and Localia Televigo) and to compare the news published on their websites and social network profiles (Facebook, X, YouTube, Instagram and TikTok), taking into account issues of thematic agenda, style and multimedia elements, through a content analysis of the production on these platforms. Complementarily, the production process will be defined from the perspective of the media professionals studied.

The rich culture and folklore of Galicia present a fascinating backdrop for a video game or a fictional story, yet these characteristics remain largely unexplored in entertainment media. The final goal aims to conceptualize and design an action-based RPG set in pre-Roman Galicia, inhabited by its Celtic-rooted peoples. The project focuses on coherently integrating Galician myths and legends with Celtic mythology, both in narrative and gameplay aspects, to create a unique and immersive experience that could be viable and achievable in the future.

This final degree project consists of the development of a multimedia report with coverage also on the social networks X, YouTube, Instagram and TikTok, called Bang. The project, approached from the perspective of specialised sports journalism in the field of basketball, attempts to analyse through data a frequent reality in professional competitions, such as the new trend that favours greater use of the three-point line shot. The research not only aims to explain with data, but also seeks the tangible reality of what it has provoked in the professionals in the field, from the players, the main protagonists of the change, to coaches and analysts. To look for something beyond what the spectator can see, to get to the invisible work that the professionals do and the tactical solutions they find, to observe the new player profiles that have arrived, to give value to the mental level that is needed to take a shot and the possible ways for the future that the triple can have.

Summary
This Final Degree Project explores the social and economic repercussions of drug trafficking in the Galician town of Cambados, whose recent history has been profoundly shaped by this issue since the late 20th century. The research focuses on analyzing how this illegal activity has influenced the daily life of local residents, reshaped the perception of their collective identity, and affected the external image of the community. The project includes an audiovisual piece featuring first-hand accounts and significant data, aiming to reveal the many layers of a complex reality. While acknowledging the negative impact left by drug trafficking, the work also highlights the community’s capacity to rebuild its narrative and confront the stigma. This project seeks to provide a critical and honest perspective on a still-open wound that remains present in the collective memory and continues to shape both the past and present of this territory.

Summary
This study analyzes the phenomenon of queerbaiting through the relationship between Dean Winchester and Castiel in the series Supernatural (2005 to 2020), considered an emblematic case of queer representations in the media. Using a qualitative methodology (narrative analysis, audience analysis, and public statements) the study examines the narrative devices that suggest a possible romantic relationship between the two characters without explicitly confirming it. Likewise, the reactions and interpretations of the fandom on the X platform (formerly Twitter) are studied, highlighting the emotional and social impact of this ambiguity. The work reveals the limitations of television fiction in integrating authentic queer narratives, highlighting the tendency to allude without affirming, which can perpetuate stereotypes and frustrations. The research proposes moving towards more inclusive and responsible representations that respond to the expectations of the queer audience and contribute to the transformation of cultural norms in fiction. In this way, the study provides useful tools for cultural and gender studies to analyze queer representation and its effects in the media.

Summary
During the summer of the year 2000, Real Club Celta de Vigo participates in a european competition to win a qualification entry to the UEFA Cup: this competition is called the Intertoto Cup, nowadays this tournament has dissapeared. During that summer, the galician club made its way into the final and won the cup in Saint Petersburg against Zenit. But it wasn’t the only winner that year, this is because there were multiple winner for each edition of the competition. Both VfB Stuttgart from Germany and Udinese Calcio from Italy also secured the title. That´s the reason why there is controversy arround wether or not the Intertoto Cup is even official or prestigious. In this research documentary we will investigate arround this matter, and we’ll be discusing how important it was at the moment. We will also analize about the evolution of its perception as years went by until today. Also, we’ll be doing a historical review of the golden years of the club until the 2000’s to compare it afterwards with the status and situation of Celta de Vigo nowadays, so that we can understand the importance of this achievement. The final objective is to give an answer to the following question: ¿Does Real Club Celta de Vigo have an official european title? And, if that’s the case, ¿Is it the only galician men’s football club that has won an official european title?
Summary
Why would a village near the capital of Galicia be left out of cultural and audiovisual programming? Perhaps because many rural spaces have become the immediate periphery of the cities, as is the case of the parish of Enfesta. Memoria EnFesta is a cultural event that aims to reverse this situation through workshops and activities that the neighborhood can share in community, as well as the creation of a photographic and digital archive that preserves the memory of the place, in an attempt to prevent rural stories from being forgotten over time. This project starts with a bibliographic review that allows the ideation and development of the contents, with the objective of designing an audiovisual event in its entirety. This is why a sales dossier is included, which is presented as the resulting product of this work.

Summary
The conflict between the POUM and the PCE during the Spanish Civil War is one of the most decisive internal struggles within the Republican faction. This paper, which focuses on a historical-critical analysis of newspapers, aims to examine the rivalry between the two parties and their confrontations, which began even before the war itself, during the Second Spanish Republic. The analysis will revolve around issues of La Batalla published between October 11, 1935, the day it became the official organ of the POUM, and May 27, 1937, the date of its final issue. At the same time, publications from the PCE’s official newspaper, Mundo Obrero, will also be examined. The main objective is to uncover what each party thought of the other, in order to analyze the conflicts that would ultimately lead to the disappearance of the POUM, events that proved crucial within the broader context of the war. Sources were obtained from the Virtual Library of Historical Press in the case of La Batalla and from the Spanish Civil War Digital Newsstand for Mundo Obrero. The findings of this study revealed that the PCE routinely referred to its rivals as Trotskyists or fascist agents, while the POUM based its criticism on labeling the PCE as Stalinists and Republicans. The study also uncovered the decisive role played by the USSR in the conflict, first, as a power on which the PCE depended and second, as a principal agent behind the attacks on the POUM and its subsequent disappearance.

Summary
Galician photographic history and the Foto Sandine studio come together in this work, which responds to the need for research into the photographic memory of Galicia. It highlights the key figure of Foto Sandine as an emblematic establishment in the city of Santiago de Compostela, emphasising its essential role in the documentation and conservation of the city's heritage and visual memory. From the last decades of the 20th century to the first decades of the 21st century, this studio was a witness to multiple social, historical, technological and cultural transformations, with a huge capacity to adapt to this constant evolution. The work is based on research into the context of the flourishing and consolidation of photography, the first professionals and permanent studios in what is now the Galician capital, and on an analysis of the life and professional trajectory of the Sandine family.

Summary
This study analyses the portrayal of rural depopulation in Galicia by the photographer Adra Pallón in his work Lumes (Fires). This research emphasises the social commitment that the figure of the documentary photographer acquires in the societies he portrays. Using a qualitative methodology, the aim is to find out how this work influences the Galician photographic panorama, what its characteristics and objectives are and what relationship it has with reality and with the subjects it photographs. It is concluded that Pallón's initiative constitutes a renewal of the documentary photography scene in Galicia. It is a meticulously thought-out work that grows out of a personal need, but which seeks references in the past and relates to other disciplines of knowledge. The aim of this photographer is not to provoke a real change, but to pay homage to the protagonists.

NO-DO was one of the main communication channels of the Franco government. News programmes and documentaries were produced through this organisation. In this Final Degree Project we have analysed the documentary production of NO-DO during the late Franco regime, from 1969 to 1975, in order to find out how Galicia was represented. For this purpose, 26 documentaries dealing with Galicia were selected and, by means of an analysis sheet, the characteristics of the discourse and the audiovisual language of the pieces were detected. The results showed that the image and sound of the documentaries were completely subordinated to the discourse of the Regime. The political, economic and social realities were hidden under a modern but traditional aesthetic. Most of the content was aimed at promoting tourism through Galician historical architecture, beaches and folklore. The analysis concludes that NO-DO did not use documentaries to portray the life of the citizens but used its mechanisms to signify Galicia as a place to go on pilgrimage.

Summary
‘Women's football: past, present and future’ is a multimedia report that deals with the initiation, evolution, normalisation and future objectives of this discipline. This project focuses on the state of the sport in Spain and, more specifically, in Galicia. Women's football is a sport on the rise. The passing of the years has favoured its expansion and normalisation, but the road has not been easy. As a reflection of the situation of women, this sport has been forbidden for women. In 1895, a group of women in England decided to lay the foundations and begin to pave the way for a new discipline. However, the shadow of their male counterpart is always present in this development: criticism, insults and a constant underestimation of the level is the order of the day. They have managed to make progress towards normalisation, achieving a 60.34% increase in the number of active licences in Galicia in seven seasons. There is still a long way to go, the smaller ones are the future of this discipline in which a greater commitment and attention from the spectator is demanded to continue growing.

Summary
In this Final Degree thesis we have studied the evolution of public funding of a selection of seven Spanish regional public media during the period 2013-2023, based on the consolidated annual accounts of their regional governments. A literature review has been carried out to compose a theoretical framework that contextualises and introduces the research, which was conducted with a quantitative method, based on the analysis of 75 documents of the seven chosen corporations -Catalonia, Basque Country, Andalusia, Galicia, Madrid, Valencia and Aragon-. The results show how the autonomous media increase their budgets and subsidies gradually, without taking into account objectives, in compliance with what was agreed in the Contract Programmes. Moreover, the economic crises affect the PSM to a large extent, forcing them to carry out economic restructuring and to allocate extraordinary items to cover losses.

This Final Degree Project focuses on carrying out comparative research, analyzing and explaining the phenomenon of misinformation, from the point of view of law, during two different crises: the Covid-19 pandemic and the DANA in Valencia in 2024. The purpose of the work is to observe and examine the coverage of both phenomena both in the media and the role of social networks, through verification platforms, in the dissemination of disinformation. It is about studying how and where misinformation spreads in the context of these crises, and in relation to this, considering legal aspects such as the right to truthful information, honor or rectification.

Summary
On October 29, 2024, ocurred a cut-off low over Valencia, an extreme meteorological phenomenon that caused more than 200 fatalities and severe material damage in a large part of the municipalities that make up the Valencian Community. The magnitude of the event turned its media coverage into a priority issue for the main Spanish media, in a context marked by over-information, immediacy and high audiovisual load. Based on this scenario, this research seeks to understand the dynamics of news consumption by young people during crisis situations, with special attention to the preference between public and private television channels. Factors such as the perceived reliability of the different media or the impact of disinformation are also considered. This project, based on a methodology that combines semi-structured in-depth interviews with young Spaniards with diverse profiles and a content analysis on Antena 3 and La 1 news programs, reveals that young people do not prioritize any specific channel when it comes to getting information in critical contexts, but rather mainly resort to social networks, although they tend to watch more television during serious events. In addition, they perceived media coverage focused on victimization, both narratively and visually.

Summary
Sportwashing is a political communication strategy that consists of whitewashing the image or improving the reputation of entities or individuals through sport. Although its methods have been used since the 20th century, in the 21st century, Middle Eastern regimes (Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates) have become true protagonists in the exercise of these practices. In short, this work provides an overview of the historical evolution of the subject, looking at its historical background in fascist Italy and Videla's Argentina, its models of application and its implications for geopolitical dynamics in the Middle East. It also proposes and implements an infotainment audio project that fulfils its informative objectives with journalistic and academic rigour.

RTVE has incorporated multiple contents in the schedule of La 1 between 2021 and 2024, thus developing a strategy based on the broadcasting of major sporting events and various entertainment, fiction and information and current affairs programmes, after the generalist channel will present its lowest annual audience share in recent years in 2021. This research aims to analyse how the contents that RTVE has introduced in the programming of La 1 as a novelty between 2021 and 2024 have contributed to the public service mission that justifies the existence of the Spanish corporation, how these new contents have influenced the audience ratings of the generalist channel and what opinion the audience has about their broadcasting on the public channel.

Summary
This Final Degree Project proposes the creation of the documentary series Viñen por verte, an audiovisual work in three episodes that delves into Galician oral tradition from a historical, emotional, and symbolic perspective. The proposal stems from an in-depth study of the transmission chain of this intangible heritage, focusing on the fieldwork conducted during the 1990s, which was key to preserving a collective memory that was on the verge of disappearing following the impact of the Franco dictatorship and the rupture with the rural world. The central figure of the series is Rumboia, a symbolic character who embodies Galician oral tradition and guides the narrative through the past, present, and future. Through interviews, audiovisual archives, and musical performances, the series builds a narrative that highlights the value of the work of the people who compile and of oral transmission, addressing the debate around access to the archives while also recognizing the fundamental role of the bearers of collective memory, women.

Summary
Sports journalism has undergone major transformations at all levels in recent years. One of the significant issues affecting not only journalism but also many other social sectors is the situation of women. Social movements over the past decade have greatly contributed to the pursuit of improvements. This study aims to analyze gender representation in various media outlets, compare the current situation with that of the late 20th and early 21st centuries, and understand the audience’s perspective. To achieve this, a content analysis, a survey, and five semi-structured interviews with different sports journalists, both from Galicia and the national scene, have been conducted. The results reflect the significant progress made so far, but also highlight the need to continue the fight to eliminate the inequality that still exists today in sports journalism.

Summary
This project consists of the creation of a dramatic fiction miniseries and the production of its pilot episode. Ao Ritmo de Golpes narrates the story of five women, Carme, Malena, Majo, Ana and Cecilia, from a female perspective that presents the characters as autonomous, with their own voice and complex life trajectories, based on the theories of authors such as Janice Loreck or Laura Mulvey.

Summary
This undergraduate presents a systematized literature review on the impact of recommendation and personalization algorithms in the formation of echo chambers and filter bubbles within digital social networks. Based on the concept introduced by Eli Pariser in 2011, the study analyzes how algorithms shape information exposure by favoring homogeneous content aligned with users' prior preferences, potentially leading to ideological polarization, radicalization, and disinformation. Through an analysis of the existing academic literature, the thesis aims to examine the main scholarly debates around this phenomenon, assess the actual existence of echo chambers and filter bubbles, and evaluate the social and political consequences arising from the use of such algorithmic systems.

Summary
Suicide is a serious public health problem. In Spain, 4,116 suicides were recorded in 2023. It is also a traditionally muted issue in the media, but recent research states that communicating about suicide can be a mesure of prevention on the issue, Journalism is an agent that exerts a great influence on the beliefs and opinions of the general population. This Traballo de Fin de Grao analyses the treatment and coverage of suicide between 1 January and 31 December 2024 in the two main media in Galicia: Faro de Vigo and La Voz de Galicia, with the aim of verifying compliance with the Spanish and European ethics on the correct treatment of suicide. For this purpose, the research applies a case study articulated through in depth interviews with healthcare and communication professionals, and a mainly quantitative content analysis for which an analysis sheet composed of eleven variables was made, many of them taken from the recommendations published in the guidelines on the treatment of suicide. The results show a varied coverage in both media, but without considering into account in most cases the recommendations of prevention guides, healthcare professionals or without the sensitivity that should characterize the treatment of suicide.

Summary
Who has not ever sat down to hear their grandparents’ stories? Tiro porque me toca is a documentary animated short film that retrieves and highlights the tales of three elderly characters that bring us to mid-twentieth century’s city of Compostela. Through play, that arises in the film as a vehicle for the intergenerational transmission of memory, we reach their daily past life anecdotes, full of humor. These stories are recreated by drawing on family photo archive and animation. The latter aims to generate an attractive narrative for all audiences, appealing especially to children. Based on this premise, Tiro porque me toca sets a main goal: addressing the personal and family memory in order to promote the record and the preservation of these stories, that contribute to build the collective memory and the immaterial heritage of Santiago de Compostela. Apart from the creative proposal, the project is completed with a theorical approach in which different related to documentary film creation are analyzed.

Summary
Communication is closely related to sport and has grown exponentially throughout the 21st century. Clubs are increasingly targeting a wider audience, and this entails greater responsibility in terms of communication, as well as the need for greater investment. However, there are few academic articles that address these issues in depth in the world of football. This paper analyzes how communication is carried out in a professional organization, in this case Real Oviedo. To this end, we analyze its communication plan and how it is executed, as well as the different actions it carries out and the level of satisfaction with its communication policy among both its fans and the journalists who cover it daily. This is done in order to identify possible flaws or potential areas for improvement in its communication strategy.
