Summary
Given the rise of the new right, conceived as a reconfiguration of neoliberalism in response to the challenges of contemporary societies, this paper proposes to analyze the relationship between meritocracy, as one of the central discursive axes of these currents, and its impact on the social valuation of work, that is, how the concept of work is redefined in the social order in light of the discourses of merit that impact on it. In particular, it examines how this articulation has transformed the political and social landscape in various Western societies, directly impacting the structure and dynamics of the labor market. Since this process, the workplace has been redefined as a space where access to positions of responsibility, management, and control is justified based on talent, effort, and individual ability, thus reinforcing a meritocratic logic that makes invisible the structuring and configuration of opportunities. Using a theoretical and comparative approach, the proposals of two authors with divergent perspectives are compared, highlighting the strengths and limitations of their approaches. It is based on the premise that both economic and political theories and social dynamics are supported by philosophical and ideological frameworks that ultimately shape and transform the organization of societies.

Summary
Traditionally, studies on negative behaviors among students have focused on primary and secondary education. This article presents the results of a study conducted with university students, specifically students in the Labor Relations program at the University of Santiago de Compostela. In order to gain a better understanding of negative behaviors, the frecuency which 217 students reported experiencing them was analyzed. Two personality factors (emotional stability and extroversion) and academic satisfaction and performance were also analyzed, with the aim of establishing a relationship between negative behaviors and these variables. It is concluded that, in the university setting, the behaviors most frequently experienced by students are those within the “Contempt and Ridicule” dimension. Regarding predictors, the students’ academic year and their emotional stability significantly predict the experience of negative behaviors. Furthermore, we can affirm that negative behaviors influence academic satisfaction, although the results regarding performance are inconsistent.

Summary
Master's Thesis in the form of a Case Study with the theme of diminished criminal responsibility or imputability. It will be divided into two parts; a theoretical part, in which we will focus on the Spanish legal framework, the different definitions of criminal responsibility and imputability and those disorders that disqualify it and the forensic tests necessary to carry out an evaluation in this area, following the Protocol of Arce and Fariña (2007). In the second part, a methodological approach to forensic psychology will be presented by means of a simulated case study in which all the instruments and tools required to carry out a successful assessment in the field of criminal responsibility will be addressed in a practical way, the results will be calculated and the appropriate conclusions will be drawn for this type of case.

Summary
The main objective of this research is to explore the level of work stress experienced in a sample of workers between 20 and 60 years of age in the tertiary or service sector, as well as to study the relationship of work stress with performance and work-family reconciliation/balance. The study involved 100 workers who were administered the Work Stress Questionnaire (CEL), the Individual Work Performance Questionnaire (IWPQ) and the Survey Work-Home Interaction-Nijmegen (SWING). The results showed that 17 of the participants presented high stress and 30 moderate stress; as well as the relationship between work stress and performance, highlighting the influence of physiological stress and stressors with counterproductive behavior, and total work stress with this and with contextual performance. Regarding the relationship between job stress and work-family reconciliation, it has been found that both FTI and negative TFI are directly and positively related to the stress subscales. Likewise, positive TFI produces a decrease in psychological stress in individuals. Significant differences were also found in work stress and performance with higher values in women and in positive work-family reconciliation in men. With respect to age, differences in counterproductive behavior were found in young people. Finally, the importance of work stress and the limitations of the study are highlighted.

Summary
This Master's Thesis addresses sexual assault, a phenomenon that is highly present in daily life. It is divided into two sections: theoretical framework and methodological framework. In the first part, the thesis approaches the analysis of the issue through prevalence data on these situations from a legal perspective, using legal statistics and reports as references. Furthermore, it delves into both the victim and the perpetrator, identifying, based on scientific literature, their characteristics, as well as risk factors and the consequences these situations often have for those who experience them. The concept of Therapeutic Justice is also discussed, and what it entails, leading to an analysis of sexual assault in the forensic context, where it is important to corroborate the credibility of the testimony, the presence of psychological traces, and to demonstrate the causal relationship between these factors. In the methodological section of this Master's Thesis, an expert assessment study is presented, carried out on a person reporting a situation of sexual violence. For the preparation of the expert report, all the steps included in the Global Evaluation System (GES) are followed, which goes beyond the jurisprudential and legal principles required by our legal system. This technique makes it possible, through different types of interviews (cognitive, forensic clinical) and psychometric analysis, to detect simulation, evaluate whether the person’s statement corresponds to internally or externally experienced events, assess the presence of harm, and determine the causal link between these two factors.

Summary
The relationship between Dark Triad traits (psychopathy, narcissism and Machiavellianism) and aggression has generated great interest in the current literature, although the empirical findings still present some heterogeneity. The main objective of this review is to analyze and synthesize the available scientific evidence on the association between the Dark Triad traits and aggressive behavior in the adult population, as well as to establish the predictive strength of each of them. To this end, a systematic review and a bare-bones meta-analysis were carried out following the PRISMA 2020 protocol. The search carried out in the PsycINFO, PubMed and Web of Science databases yielded a total of 18 independent studies with a final sample of 6,393 participants. The results confirm a positive and significant correlation between three traits and aggression. Also, a hierarchy in the magnitude of associations was observed, with psychopathy presenting the strongest relationship (p = .47), followed by Machiavellianism (p = .35) and, finally, narcissism (p = .29). The findings reinforce the validity of the Dark Triad construct and consolidate psychopathy as a central predictor of aggressive behavior. These findings have practical implications relevant to the legal-forensic field, especially in violence risk assessment, differential diagnosis, and intervention design.

Summary
Since the rise of globalization, the flow of investment between states and nations has become a common feature of the contemporary era. Every day, countless millions of euros, dollars, pounds, and other currencies are exchanged between different economies, which, moreover, are increasingly interconnected. This reality, of course, has consequences for the economies involved and for the various components that make them up. Employment is just one of these components, and this research aims to analyze and explain the extent to which these constant financial exchanges between economies affect it, focusing specifically on the case of the Spanish economy. To that end, the study will examine not only the main foreign countries whose investment benefits the Spanish economy, but also identify the key economic sectors that receive this investment and how each responds in terms of job creation or destruction. The analysis will also cover the main investment movements that have taken place in recent years and how they have impacted employment, both directly and indirectly in their surrounding contexts, ultimately concluding with a definitive statement addressing the research questions posed in this study.

Summary
For decades, the differences between men and women regarding career development and their capabilities to supervise other workers have been the subject of numerous studies. Given that engineering and technology are traditionally masculinized professional fields, with only a minority of women choosing to work in this sector, it is especially relevant to delve into the managerial skills and career aspirations of those who opted to work in it. Through this study, we aimed to determine if there are sex-based differences in these variables and the relationship between them. To this end, two scales were used to evaluate management skills along with a third scale on career aspirations. The results found no significant differences in the mean scores of the examined variables based on sex. However, regarding the relationship between these variables, it was generally found that a greater perception of management skills correlates with higher career aspirations, with the exception of intrathecal skills in the case of women. Finally, in the discussion section, the theoretical and practical implications of these findings are proposed, and research questions for future studies are raised.

Summary
This Master's Thesis critically analyzes Article 34.8 of the Workers' Statute (ET), a key provision within the framework of Spanish labor law aimed at facilitating the reconciliation of personal, family, and work life. Since its incorporation into the legal system, and especially after the reform implemented by Royal Decree-Law 6/2019, this law recognizes workers' right to request reasonable adjustments to their working hours as an improvement in their personal rights. This thesis critically addresses the regulatory content of this provision and its evolution over time to the present, evaluating advances in conciliation and co-responsibility, as well as its regulatory gaps, with special mention to the new amendment introduced in August of last year, relevant due to its great importance regarding the nullity of dismissal due to conciliation and its subsequent amendment in Organic Law 1/2025.

This Master's Thesis analyzes motherhood in Spanish prisons from a critical, legal, and psychosocial persp0ective. Based on a narrative literature review, it examines the livingconditions of incarcerated mothers and their children, the applicable legal framework, and the main structural shortcomings of the penitentiary system. The analysis underscores the tension between the State’s punitive function and the best interests of the child, as well as the limited implementation of international instruments such as the Bangkok Rules. The study highlights the lack of resources, insufficient specialized personnel, and the absence of public policies with a gender- and child-sensitive approach. It concludes by proposing improvements in legal reform, psychosocial intervention, prison staff training, and the promotion of non-custodial alternatives. The findings emphasize the urgent need to reconsider motherhood in prison from a rights-based and child-centered perspective.

Summary
The demographic complexity of Galicia is represented in its livestock sector. This is due both to the loss of skilled labor and farming operations, as well as to a changing environment, characterized also by the limited time that the rural areas of our Community had to professionalize and adapt to the great variations in costs, both common and extraordinary. The necessary work to obtain an ideal and balanced production and quality is now compounded by very difficult sanitary and climatic conditions. This academic work analyzes the regulatory framework to which small farms in Galicia are subjected, more prone to disappear and generate lower incomes, in an attempt to offer a regulatory proposal. This will be through two important taxes, the Income Tax as a direct tax and VAT as an indirect manifestation. This will be through two important taxes, personal income tax (IRPF) as a direct tax and value-added tax (VAT) as an indirect manifestation. In both cases, both for the Special and Simplified Regime of VAT and for the objective estimation of IRPF, they offer better conditions than other tax regimes, therefore they can serve as a safeguard for many people in the sector. We will base our analysis on the growth of the consumer price index (CPI) since 2016 (the year when the limits of the special and simplified VAT regime were established) and the particularities of the distribution of the dairy herd in Galicia, which is greatly conditioned by its uneven development throughout the territory.

Summary
The aim of this study is to analyze burnout syndrome in nursing professionals in the province of Badajoz and its relationship with organizational criteria of interest, specifically with job performance. Using cross-sectional design and self-report questionnaires, data were collected from a sample of 94 professionals on burnout and its dimensions (emotional exhaustion, cynicism, and professional efficacy) as well as their individual performance (task, contextual, counterproductive, and innovative) among other variables. The results reveal high levels of burnout in part of the sample, particularly in the dimensions of exhaustion and cynicism. Negative correlations were also observed between low efficacy and contextual performance, suggesting an impact of burnout on work quality. Additionally, higher levels of burnout were identified in larger healthcare facilities. These findings highlight the need to implement organizational measures for prevention and psychological support aimed at improving the well-being of nursing staff.

Summary
Entrepreneurship has become a risky activity, the cyclical financial crises and the particular difficulty in obtaining private investment have led the Spanish legislator to decide to benefit entrepreneurship through legal-tax measures created for this purpose. Thus, through the implementation of tax incentives in certain taxes, such as IS, IRPF or ISD, the aim has been to facilitate the path of entrepreneurs by establishing privileged treatment with respect to the generality of taxpayers of the same taxes. Obtaining this differentiated treatment is conditional, in all forms of taxation, on carrying out a newly created activity, which is the ultimate objective of the adoption of tax measures that derogate from the general tax system. It will therefore be a motivating factor for those who wish to try to create a new livelihood to be able to do so through personal effort supported by beneficial tax policies.

Summary
The purpose of this Master’s Final Project is to make a comprehensive review of the complex social protection framework against gender-based violence, aiming to contribute to the understanding and potential improvement of public policies designed to defend the rights of affected women. To achieve this, the different measures implemented by the social protection system are examined and grouped into four main categories: those related to labor contributions that ensure economic continuity in the face of the situation; those aimed at promoting insertion and stability in employment; social benefits that guarantee basic rights and well-being; and specific financial aid that provides economic support in situations of greater vulnerability. Each category is analyzed based on its nature, beneficiary profile, regulatory framework, and scope. The evaluation of these measures allows for an understanding of how the system seeks to offer multidisciplinary support, covering aspects from economic and labor issues to social considerations, within a context of particular vulnerability and need for protection.

Summary
This Master's Thesis aims to analyse, from a theoretical and practical perspective, the role of the forensic psychologist in assessing parental competencies and determining the most appropriate custody arrangement following a high-conflict separation. It begins with a theoretical framework that contextualises the evolution of the family concept, the psychological and social consequences of separation for minors, the applicable legal regulations, and the guiding principles of forensic psychology in family law. Subsequently, a psychological evaluation is presented, in the context of a contentious divorce proceeding involving minor children. The methodology combines validated qualitative and quantitative techniques within the forensic context: semi-structured interviews, specific questionnaires, psychometric tests (MMPI-2, TONI-2, SENA), structured behavioural observations, home visits, and collateral information gathered from close family members. Through the rigorous integration of all these data sources, a comprehensive profile is developed regarding family dynamics, parental capacities, and the emotional adjustment of the minors. The findings reveal strong emotional bonds between the children and both parents, although significant differences are observed in parenting styles, daily involvement, and emotional containment capacities. Furthermore, indicators of emotional distress were identified in one of the minors, highlighting the need for targeted psychological support. The report concludes with a series of recommendations aimed at ensuring affective continuity, structural stability, and the protection of the minors' emotional development within a framework of parental co-responsibility and cooperative parenting.

Summary
In the fight against climate change, electric vehicles have emerged as a crucial tool for mitigating the negative environmental effects associated with transportation. While until relatively recently, the vast majority of citizens were reluctant to purchase this type of vehicle, this reluctance has gradually diminished due to factors such as traffic restrictions, improved technologies, and government aid to encourage their use. In this paper, we will analyze the Spanish tax framework regarding electric vehicles. The goal is to visualize the programs and incentives associated with their purchase, compare the taxes levied on electric vehicles and combustion-engine vehicles, and implement the necessary infrastructure to reduce emissions and meet international sustainability commitments. Subsequently, a brief review will be made of the tax measures implemented by some European Union countries, which served as the basis for the development of the Spanish tax framework and have significantly contributed to achieving greater market impact and, consequently, sustainability. Finally, the challenges facing the implementation of incentives will be addressed, assessing their current limitations and proposing possible solutions to improve their effectiveness, equity, and sustainability over time.

Summary
Burnout, considered an occupational phenomenon, arises from prolonged exposure to psychosocial risk factors in the workplace. Its relevance has significantly increased in recent years, due to its negative consequences, physical, psychological, and occupational, that affect the working population, organizations, and society as a whole. One of the current limitations in addressing burnout research is the absence of a comprehensive and longitudinal approach. Within this framework, the primary objective of this study was to identify which psychosocial risk factors are associated with emotional exhaustion, the central dimension of burnout For this purpose, we conducted a meta-analysis of longitudinal studies. The results demonstrated a significant, consistent, and stable relationship between different psychosocial risk factors and emotional exhaustion. Small to moderate effect sizes were obtained for eight of the nine risk factors examined, showing consistency with previous research. We also observed that certain psychosocial risk factors, such as autonomy and social support, have the capability to reduce emotional exhaustion and mitigate the impact of other risk factors on workers. Thus, efforts should focus on promoting these aspects in work environments. Our findings can guide initiatives and interventions aimed at improving organizational mental health, as well as promote the adoption of an integrated approach to workplace intervention and public policy development.

Summary
The substantial modification of working conditions, regulated in Article 41 of the Workers' Statute, is a key instrument within Spanish labor law, designed to balance the need for organizational flexibility of companies with the protection of workers' rights. The main objective of this paper is to analyze this legal figure in depth, exploring its essential characteristics and the particularities of its practical application, as well as to reflect on its nature as a tool for internal flexibility and its impact on labor relations. This figure is approached through the study of the legislation in force and the regulatory framework established in the Workers' Statute, placing special emphasis on the legal requirements for its implementation, the justifying causes that must be met and the procedure to be followed by the companies, whether at an individual or collective level. Likewise, the analysis is complemented with a review of the most relevant case law, providing an empirical view of the conflicts arising from the application of these modifications.

Summary
The objective of this study is to analyze the role of employer branding and job search expectations, focusing on the factors that influence university students’ decisions when choosing a company as a place to work. Through an empirical study conducted with a sample of 86 students from the University of Santiago de Compostela, the most valued dimensions of employer branding are investigated, as well as the influence of other variables such as previous work experience, academic performance, gender, and subjective well-being on this perception. The results reveal that the factors most valued by respondents are work-life balance and professional development opportunities, while corporate social responsibility and organizational culture are also important, although to a lesser extent. This research helps identify the employer branding preferences of the new generation entering the labor market and offers useful recommendations for companies to adapt their strategies to meet these young people's expectations.

Summary
This Master's Thesis focuses on the analysis of how psychological expert reports are assessed in criminal proceedings, with the aim of determining whether there is a significant difference depending on the origin of the report that is, whether it was prepared by a court appointed psychologist (judicial expert) or by a party appointed psychologist (engaged by the defense or the prosecution). The main hypothesis posits that courts tend to grant greater credibility, acceptance, and decisional weight to psychological reports issued by judicial experts, in comparison to those submitted by experts appointed by the parties. To test this, a documentary review and qualitative analysis was carried out on 26 rulings issued by the Spanish Supreme Court between 2015 and 2025. The search was conducted in the CENDOJ database using specific Boolean operators, applying inclusion criteria focused on criminal judgments that incorporated psychological expert reports. A structured coding system was developed, incorporating variables such as the origin of the report, the expert’s training, techniques used, areas evaluated, perceived neutrality, judicial acceptance, contradictions between reports, influence on the verdict, and type of offense. Of the total rulings analyzed, 17 included reports written by judicial experts and 9 by party appointed psychologists. The results reveal a systematic trend in favor of judicial reports, which are perceived as more technical, objective, and aligned with legal standards. These reports were accepted in all cases, with high influence on the judicial decision, while reports from party appointed experts were mostly rejected or given little consideration, and were associated with no impact on the sentence. The discussion of the findings confirms the hypothesis and situates this study within the broader debate on expert objectivity and the importance of the professional and methodological background of the evaluator. The study also explores the practical implications for forensic psychology, highlighting the need for specialized training and standardized evaluative methodologies to strengthen the legitimacy of psychological reports in court. Among the limitations of the study are the small sample size, the lack of independent double coding, and the exclusively qualitative approach. However, the study proposes future research lines that include expanding the analysis to other jurisdictions and combining qualitative analysis with quantitative methods. In conclusion, this work provides empirical evidence that the origin of the psychological expert report significantly influences its judicial evaluation and highlights the importance of ensuring strong technical and ethical standards in forensic psychological practice in order to safeguard the right to a fair trial

Summary
The automation of processes in the retail sector has led to significant changes in job roles such as that of cashiers. With the implementation of technology, we observe the initial aim of optimizing, increasing productivity, and enhancing overall performance. However, this not only brings advantages but also reveals psychosocial risks, as the traditional role of these workers faces the threat of being reduced or potentially eliminated. This phenomenon represents an occupational risk both in terms of employability and working conditions. Automation does not only imply the elimination of jobs, but also their transformation, where employees must adapt to new tasks or face job insecurity. The aim of this Master's Thesis is to gather general information about psychosocial risks related to automation, focusing specifically on the cashier position, in order to propose a workplace risk prevention program in this area. Automation in the retail sector has transformed the role of cashiers, bringing benefits in terms of efficiency and cost reduction, but also increasing job insecurity and psychosocial risks such as stress and anxiety. To mitigate these effects, it is crucial to implement strategies such as continuous training, psychological support, and the gradual adaptation to new technologies, balancing innovation with job protection

Summary
Shared psychosis, or folie à deux, is a complex phenomenon in which one individual induces delusional ideas in another or others, typically within a context of close interpersonal bonds, emotional dependence, and social isolation. This study explores the relationship between induced delusions and criminal behavior through a comparative analysis of 11 clinical cases, identifying recurring patterns and expressions of delusions associated with crime. The findings suggest that most cases involving shared psychosis are linked to religious or persecutory delusions, and that the dominant influence of one individual over another may compromise decision making capacity, an aspect with direct implications for criminal responsibility. It is concluded that early detection and the separation of involved individuals may prevent the influenced person from committing a crime. Further research is necessary to deepen the understanding of the specific features of this rare psychopathological condition.

Summary
The exponential growth in separations and divorces among couples with dependent children has led to the recognition of the role of the forensic psychologist in family matters, with the aim of evaluating parental abilities and safeguarding the best interests of children. The objectives of this Master's thesis are therefore to promote knowledge and familiarity with family law legislation, raise awareness of the repercussions of relationship breakdown on parents and children, and present the need for a Therapeutic Justice perspective in the current justice system. This would involve using therapeutic resources, such as psychoeducational programmes, to support families in the event of a break-up. This would help to avoid the judicialisation of the family and streamline the judicial system. The thesis also sets out the aspects that a competent and professional expert must possess and comply with, including training in forensic psychology in family proceedings and the role of the forensic psychologist, as well as the basic and ethical principles of conduct. Additionally, it outlines the process for conducting a thorough expert assessment based on the model proposed by Fariña et al. (2002). Finally, a corresponding expert report for a practical case is included, accompanied by recommendations for the judicial authority.

Summary
Objective: This meta-analysis assessed the predictive validity of the Psychopathy Checklist: Youth Version (PCL:YV) for criminal recidivism in juvenile offenders, examining differences between construct facets and the moderating role of gender. Methods: Following PRISMA and JARS-Quant protocols, 11 longitudinal/correlational studies (k=11; N=1,956 adolescents; 87.2% male; mean age=16.2 years) were analyzed using random-effects models. Effect sizes were standardized to Pearson correlations (r), and biases were evaluated via funnel plots, Egger's regression, and trim-and-fill. Results: A significant correlation emerged between total PCL:YV scores and general recidivism (r=0.32). Factor 2 (behavioral: antisocial lifestyle) demonstrated greater predictive power than Factor 1 (affective-interpersonal) for both general (Delta r=0.15) and violent recidivism (Delta r=0.15). The proportion of males significantly moderated effects, with weaker associations in mixed-gender samples. Conclusions: The PCL:YV is a moderate predictor of juvenile recidivism, but its clinical-forensic utility critically depends on the facet assessed (prioritizing Factor 2) and sample gender composition. Findings underscore the need to integrate dynamic variables (trauma, family support) in risk assessments.

Summary
Forensic psychology is closely linked to the administration of justice, which implies a high level of responsibility. Their practice requires methodological precision, given the importance of the judicial decisions in which they intervene. In the present work, a comparative study was made of the personality assessment instruments most commonly used in forensic practice. For this purpose, a review of the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory MMPI and MMPI-2 was carried out. The Millon Multiaxial Personality Inventory MCMI-II and the Factor Personality Questionnaire 16PF-5. The results show that all the instruments meet the reliability and validity criteria required in the judicial context, however they present differences in terms of structure, purpose and sensitivity to detect distorted response patterns. The MMPI and especially the MMPI-2 stand out for the number of validity scales, being recommended in complex evaluations such as imputability, psychological imprint, among others. For its part, the MCMI-II offers a clinical approach focused on personality disorders, in line with the official DSM system, and is especially useful when there are indications of psychopathology, while the 16PF-5 is effective for the assessment of personality traits in the non-clinical population, especially in cases where high social desirability is expected. Finally, all of them can be used in older adolescents and in the adult population.

Summary
Child sexual abuse (CSA) in male children is a phenomenon that has been historically invisibilized and scarcely approached from a critical perspective. Therefore, through a systematic review of the scientific literature, the possible relationship between having been a victim of CSA and the subsequent commission of sexual crimes is studied from a critical viewpoint, with a gender perspective and a sociocultural approach. The studies reviewed show that, although there is no deterministic relationship, males who have suffered CSA have a higher risk of developing problematic sexual behaviors, especially when they have not been able to process the trauma and have grown up in contexts marked by rigid masculinity norms, emotional silence and lack of support. The traditional victim-victim hypothesis is questioned, highlighting the influence of social, cultural and psychological factors in the life trajectory of the victims. Based on these results, we conclude by highlighting the need for a comprehensive approach that combines trauma analysis with a critical review of gender discourses, with the aim of breaking the cycle of violence and creating safe support networks for those who have been silenced

Summary
This research analyzes the dimensions of life satisfaction, happiness, social support and job satisfaction in a sample of 101 Peruvian migrant workers residing in Spain. Through a quantitative approach, standardized scales were applied to assess these dimensions, along with sociodemographic variables. The results reveal medium levels of life satisfaction, happiness and job satisfaction, with the latter being slightly higher in its intrinsic factors. Perceived social support appeared to be limited, although satisfaction with the support received showed a positive relationship with job well being. Among all the sociodemographic variables analyzed, only previous work experience had a significant impact on job satisfaction. The findings highlight that the evaluation of work is not explained solely by objective factors, but also by subjective and relational elements. It is concluded that the analysis of migrant job well being requires an integral perspective that considers both the meaning of work and social support networks.

Summary
The aim of this Master's Thesis is to analyse the relationship between abusive supervision and a series of key organisational variables: organisational commitment, burnout, counterproductive behaviours and job performance. Based on a sample of 111 active workers in the Spanish context, valid questionnaires were administered to assess each construct, considering their specific dimensions. The results indicate that abusive supervision is negatively related to affective and normative commitment, and positively related to emotional exhaustion, cynicism, and both organisational and interpersonal counterproductive behaviours. The findings underscore the importance of promoting healthy leadership styles and preventing abusive behaviour in the workplace, as well as the need to encourage empirical research with larger samples in the national context.

Summary
This paper addresses, from the perspective of forensic psychology, the concept of imputability with both theoretical rigor and practical application. The first part presents a theoretical review of the key terms involved. It delves into the conceptual framework of the three legal and psychological pillars: imputability, culpability, and responsibility, examining their definitions and the circumstances that modify each within the Spanish legal context. Accordingly, a legal approach is also included, taking into account Royal Legislative Decree 10/1995 of the Spanish Criminal Code and the articles relevant to the topic. Next, the focus shifts to mental health, analyzing psychopathologies that affect the cognitive and/or volitional capacities of individuals who commit crimes. The paper explores the mental disorders considered by Spanish jurisprudence to be relevant when assessing imputability. Once this conceptual framework has been established, the role of the forensic psychology professional in these cases is examined, including the assessment process and the protocols related to imputability, the tools used in Spain, and the consistency analysis that helps distinguish genuine psychological distress from malingering. The second part of this master’s thesis presents a practical application of the theoretical content. It methodologically addresses a case study consisting of a forensic report that assesses the criminal responsibility of a woman convicted of physically assaulting her partner while under the influence of cocaine.

Summary
This Master’s Thesis addresses the analysis of the fiscal harmonization of Value Added Tax (VAT) within the context of the European Union, focusing on a comparative study between Italy and Spain. Initially, it provides a contextualization of European Union law through an overview of its origins, evolution, and legal foundations, in order to establish the basis for the process of fiscal integration. Subsequently, the concepts, objectives, and legal bases of fiscal harmonization are examined, with particular attention to what is established in the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU), emphasizing the taxes subject to harmonization. Within this framework, VAT is analyzed as a general consumption tax, detailing its historical development and the fundamental principles that underpin it: neutrality, generality, and the destination principle. The study focuses on the European regulatory framework governing VAT harmonization, particularly Directive 2006/112/EC, and its implications for the Member States. A specific analysis of the VAT systems in Italy and Spain is developed, considering their legislative evolution and the impact of EU fiscal harmonization in both countries. Finally, the similarities and differences in legislation and practice between Italy and Spain are compared, offering a critical reflection on the effectiveness and challenges of the harmonization process in terms of fiscal integration and the functioning of the European internal market. The research is based on relevant legislative, doctrinal, and statistical sources.

Summary
Work-life and personal balance is one of the areas that has evolved the most since its inception. It has become a topic of great relevance in recent years due to its significant social impact, with a multitude of new possibilities and such importance that, without considering this area, it would be impossible to understand the current state of work. Due to the relevance of the subject under discussion and its constant evolution, it is important to establish the current status of the subject matter, placing special emphasis on the latest developments, such as parental leave, and the options available to workers who need to make use of these measures. To this end, a study will be conducted of the current state of regulations, case law, and existing doctrine on this topic. Using all the information gathered, we will attempt to provide an overview and fill in any gaps in the regulations with the other documentary sources. Several conclusions can be drawn from the study, the main one being that, despite the significant progress made in this area and its importance, many aspects still have room for improvement. This is especially true of the more recently added concepts, which are insufficiently developed. This lack of specificity can lead to legal uncertainty for both workers and companies.

This article discusses Social Security family benefits, those granted for the growth of a family, to contribute to its support. We focus on the role that Community regulations play in this area. In this article, we will move from a more general perspective to a more specific approach. We will begin by explaining what Social Security is as a means of protecting citizens, as well as its origin and evolution in Spain. We will then go on to specify what family benefits are and the catalog offered in our country. In the next chapter, we will explore the role of Community law as a coordinating or harmonizing element of the different social protection systems of the Member States, and then further clarify this role in relation to family benefits. At this point, we will delve into the most important legal instrument, Regulation 883/2004. After explaining the most important points, we will go further, referring to the jurisprudential interpretation, particularly that of the CJEU, in relation to practical problems that may arise in its application. All of this will allow us to conclude with a series of conclusions, both as a summary and to propose various hypotheses, arguments, or speculations regarding various aspects that are considered worthy of improvement.

Summary
This master’s thesis addresses the analysis of criminal responsibility from a forensic perspective, focusing on how mental disorders can influence an individual’s capacity to be held legally accountable for their actions. Through legal, psychological, and medical forensic theorical review, it explores the clinical and legal criteria that determine criminal non responsibility, as well as how this condition is assessed within the judicial system. The research examines mental disorders relevant to criminal law, such as personality disorders, affective disorders, bipolar disorders, and substance use disorders, analyzing their impact on judgment, volition, and behavior. The current legal framework in Spain is also reviewed, with particular emphasis on the interpretation of the Criminal Code and the application of legal defenses or mitigating circumstances related to the accused's mental state. The study underscores the importance of forensic evaluation as a key tool in determining criminal responsibility and highlights the need for ethical, objective, and multidisciplinary professional involvement.
