Summary
Substance use continues to be a major public health problem today, although it has undergone significant changes over the years. These changes not only affect consumption patterns but also the social profile of people seeking treatment in specialized addictive behavior treatment units. Understanding this evolution is essential for designing effective intervention strategies adapted to current needs. This Final Degree Project is a qualitative research proposal that aims to analyze the evolving profile of people seeking treatment in addictive behavior treatment units, using the ACLAD Drug Dependence Unit in A Coruña as a reference. The objective is to provide empirical evidence that will allow for updating and optimizing care protocols, thereby improving therapeutic efficacy, adherence, and the quality of the services provided, as well as providing information for the development of prevention strategies more in line with new realities. The project will be carried out between February 2025 and March 2026, using a methodology framed within the sociocritical paradigm. Purposive sampling will be conducted, focusing on the records of individuals seen for the first time at the ACLAD Drug Addiction Care Unit (UAD) during the specified period. Data collection will be performed through documentary analysis of the selected clinical and social records, and the analysis of the information obtained will be conducted using specialized NVivo software.

Summary
Throughout history, the use of psychoactive substances has always been present, influenced by social, cultural, and/or psychological factors. Today, this practice remains prevalent, generating difficulties and barriers in various areas, including sexual health. Substance use alters sexual perception, which implies a behavioral transformation. Typically, people resort to consumption with the conviction of greater sexual pleasure, but scientific certainty shatters this idealization, as it demonstrates that the abusive use of these substances can cause various sexual dysfunctions and disorders, with special emphasis on the risk of contracting STIs or unwanted pregnancies. In this paper, we will analyze the relationship between substance use and its impact on sexual life, evaluating social, physiological, and psychological factors. We will investigate the most significant findings, with the aim of understanding the impact of psychoactive substance use on the sexual sphere and providing useful information for prevention, intervention, and awareness-raising about this issue. prioritizing the role of Social Work to offer a social perspective that facilitates the timely reintegration of users into the community.

Summary
This Final Degree Project studies the experience of the Moroccan population residing in Ribeira (municipality of A Coruña) in their access to primary health care. Based on the demographic reality of the municipality, which is the second largest in the province with the highest number of registered Moroccans, the factors that influence the equitable use of the Galician healthcare system are analyzed. This topic is studied due to the notable presence of the Moroccan population in Ribeira and the barriers they encounter in equitably accessing Primary Health Care. The objective of this project is to analyze the socio-health information linked to the access of the Moroccan population to the health system in the Ribeira Health Center, exploring their perceptions and identifying the elements that intervene in this process. The methodology used responds to a qualitative approach with an interpretive paradigm and, following the suggestion, will be based on the phenomenological method to understand the experiences. The participants will be adult individuals of Moroccan origin residing in Ribeira and SERGAS professionals working at the health center. Semi-structured interviews, audio-recorded and anonymized, will be used for data collection. The qualitative analysis, based on abductive reasoning, will be conducted during the period from November 2025 to January 2026. The dissemination of the obtained results will include their return to the participants, publication in institutional repositories, specialized scientific journals, and presentation at conferences in the field. The project seeks to recognize the barriers that hinder the right to health, strengthen the role of Social Work in intercultural care, and offer guidelines to improve accessibility, relevance, and continuity of care for the Moroccan population in Primary Health Care.

Summary
Social Work in the military sphere represents a little-known and rarely practiced branch in Spain. This Final Degree Project aims to analyze the knowledge, perception, and evaluation that social workers have regarding the profession within this military institution: the Navy. It explores its development at the national level, as well as its implementation in other countries.Military personnel and their families, like the rest of the Spanish population, face psychosocial and economic needs within an environment that has its own specific characteristics. These circumstances create a specific field of intervention for Social Work, which can significantly contribute to the well-being of this group. To achieve the objectives of this qualitative research, semi-structured interviews were conducted with social workers who carry out their professional activity in the Spanish Navy, in order to understand the reality of this branch of the profession. The study concludes with a proposal for changes and improvements. The main findings revealed that Social Work in the Navy does not receive the institutional recognition it deserves, despite the important role it plays in supporting military personnel and their families. There is a need for greater visibility, institutionalized interprofessional coordination, the creation of specialized training, and an increase in available positions. This profession has enabled many individuals to acknowledge their needs and feel empowered to ask for help for the first time.

Summary
Chemical submission constitutes a criminal phenomenon of significant social relevance, involving the administration of psychoactive substances to a person without their consent, with the purpose of nullifying their will and facilitating the commission of crimes such as sexual assaults or thefts. This research project focuses on analyzing this issue in the current context, with an emphasis on the challenges posed by its detection and prevention, as well as the impact it has on victims and society as a whole. The general objective of this qualitative research project is to explore and understand the experiences of women who have been victims of chemical submission, with a particular focus on identifying whether or not support networks were present before, during, and/or after the assault. This study is grounded in the socio-critical paradigm, as it considers chemical submission to be a social phenomenon deeply shaped by gender inequalities and existing power structures. The research method employed will be meta-ethnography, which allows for the analysis and integration of multiple studies and cases by comparing participants' experiences. The data collection instrument will be semi-structured interviews. Participants will include women over the age of 18 who have been victims of chemical submission, as well as professionals involved in addressing such cases. Data analysis will be carried out using discourse analysis techniques. The project will be conducted between February 2025 and February 2026

Summary
Bullying is a problem that affects a large number of children around the world, especially in the educational sphere. It is the exposure of children to physical and/or psychological harm on a regular basis by the bully, which causes socio-emotional instability that harms the overall development of children. For this reason, Social Work wants to offer its participation in education, since despite its potential and its great work, this discipline still lacks visibility in schools, and the power it has to help in community intervention and social problems is unknown. To this end, a qualitative research project is proposed, which through the implementation of focus groups aimed at students, families and teachers, to analyse the impact of bullying in the IES Sánchez Cantón secondary school in Pontevedra, and the psychosocial consequences of its ESO students, in addition, this study will make visible the impact it has and outline major proposals to be addressed from social work.

Summary
The present document addresses the relationship between the vulnerability and the social inclusion in migrant minors, with a focus in the mental health and the role of the social worker in accompanying and intervening with this community, which is particularly exposed to situations of risk and social exclusion, both because of the difficulties that they face in their migratory process and because of their adaptation to their new country of residence. This approach is carried through a qualitative methodology, which combines, after a study of the participants and the implementation of selection criteria, interviews with migrant minors, to examine in depth the difficulties they face in their integration process upon arrival in our country and discussion group with the various professionals of the field of approach, with the main objective of analysing the role of Social Work in the care and intervention with these minors. On the other hand, in order to facilitate the understanding of the subject under study, an extensive theoretical framework is included, made up of sections that will facilitate this perception, such as a contextualisation of the basic terms, the profession of the social worker in this field of action and and the relevant legislation. In conclusion, the need for an approach that ensures equal access to support services to promote more effective inclusion and emotional development for these children will be highlighted.

Armed conflicts are one of the main actions that violate human rights. In today's society, they have become one of the great problems with the need for intervention to reduce the consequences they produce. This final degree project responds to a narrative review of the state of the art and its main objective is the analysis of different scientific literature to address the term peacebuilding in the context of conflict and post-conflict. The methodology used consists mainly of the exhaustive search for studies related to the topic addressed, using the databases of Dialnet, Eric, Scopus, PubMed, PsycInfo and Web Of Science. The article selection criteria were based on the study identification process, screening, and final inclusion of relevant articles. A total of 18 studies were identified, from which a thorough analysis of bibliometric and thematic results was conducted. Through the results, the necessary intervention and training of Social Work in these contexts is analyzed, thus integrating the profession and promoting a holistic vision. It is concluded that in order to carry out peacebuilding in these environments, it is necessary to take into account the profession of Social Work, which is essential for pre-conflict, conflict and post-conflict processes. In addition, the relevance of using a specific methodology in the interventions carried out by Social Work in the context of armed conflict is studied.

Summary
People construct social reality based on a view of diversity shaped by social imaginaries, wich influence perceptions of what is considered real or legitimate. In this context, we can observe the case of people with Down síndrome, who throughout history have seen stereotyped and shaped by the inluence of these imaginaries. Today, despite advances in inclusion, these prejudicial ideas remain present in the collective imagination, hindering the active participation of people with Down syndrome and intellectual disabilities in various spheres. The general objective of this project is to analyze the role of social imaginaries in the perception of people with Down syndrome, from the perspective of Social Work as a discipline linked to social justice, awareness-raising, and social inclusion. This research has a qualitative approach, adopts the sociocritical paradigm, and employs phenomenology as its method. Convenience sampling will be used, and a semistructured interview will be used as the data collection technique, allowing for the deepest exploration of the participants' narratives. Finally, this Final Degree Project aims to make voices visible, demystify stereotypes, and collaborate to build an impartial and inclusive social imaginary.
