Manos Unidas is the Association of the Catholic Church in Spain for the aid, promotion and development of the most disadvantaged and developing countries. It is also a non-governmental organization for development (ONGD), voluntary, non-profit, Catholic and secular. Its mission is to combat poverty, hunger, malnutrition, disease and educational deprivation; and to work to eradicate the structural causes that produce them.
Develop two lines of action:
- Raising awareness of hunger and poverty, denouncing the causes and possible solutions.
- Projects: raising funds to finance projects aimed at promoting the integral development of people in developing countries.

Manos Unidas Lugo contributes to the development cooperation project "Formación técnica para jóvenes y adolescentes vulnerables en Carazo (Nicaragua)" (2024)
The partnership is open for volunteers to:
- Participate in solidarity events, helping to raise funds for a cooperation project.
- Participate in awareness campaigns to publicize the project through social networks.
Location: Lugo
Timetable: 2 hours per week (according to personal availability)
Duration: academic year
