Awareness-raising programmes

Manos Unidas is the Association of the Catholic Church in Spain for the aid, promotion and development of the most disadvantaged and developing countries. It is also a non-governmental organization for development (ONGD), voluntary, non-profit, Catholic and secular. Its mission is to combat poverty, hunger, malnutrition, disease and educational deprivation; and to work to eradicate the structural causes that produce them.

Develop two lines of action:

  • Raising awareness of hunger and poverty, denouncing the causes and possible solutions.
  • Projects: raising funds to finance projects aimed at promoting the integral development of people in developing countries.

Resources are also available to work in the classroom on Development and Values Education: Educando para un mundo más justo
