Work placements

Academic work placements are a training activity carried out by university students and supervised by the USC, which aims to allow them to apply and complement the knowledge acquired in their academic training.

Passing the work placement means the academic recognition of 6 optional credits in the Degree in Philosophy, which is equivalent to 150 hours of the student's personal work. Of these, 135 will correspond to the actual work in the collaborating entity and 15 to the drafting of the final report of the activities carried out during the work placement period. The report will be sent to their tutor for assessment.

The following are the requirements needed:

  • To be enrolled in the Degree in Philosophy
  • Be a student in the 3rd or 4th year and have passed 110 credits in the 1st and 2nd year.
  • To not having previously carried out a work placement in companies or institutions that could be recognised for the Degree in Philosophy.
  • To not maintain an employment relationship with the company where the work placement is to be carried out at the time of the call.
