In order to respond to the needs of such a large, diverse group, the PFID establishes the participation of the target groups according to the following structure:
- University teaching staff and hired professors.
- Pre-doctoral and post-doctoral hired professors with teaching in POD.
- Hired research staff without teaching in POD (up to 20% of the positions in those activities whose content corresponds to their professional development profile).
In the event that the positions offered for professors with teaching in POD are not filled, they may be awarded to hired research staff without teaching in POD who have been on the waiting list.
Conditions of the programme:
- The period in which the courses are offered is from October to June.
- Courses that do not cover 75% of the offered enrolment will be cancelled, except those with computer practice or language conversation sessions, which will have a minimum of ten people.
Pre-enrolment for the courses is carried out exclusively online. Enrolment will be formalised from the Training and Teaching Innovation Programme according to the order the application was submitted and will be communicated with an email to each person.
Staff with teaching in Teaching Organisation Plan will use the link to the enrolment page available for each course. If you do not have access credentials to the Virtual Secretary’s Office, please contact Area of information and communication technologies. Once opened, the pre-enrolment can be carried out in two ways:
- From the Training and Teaching Innovation Programme page itself, there is a "Pre-enrolment" section for each course, by selecting it you access the user identification screen, choose Virtual Secretary’s Office of the Teaching and research staff, and there click on the option "Enrol in the activity".
- The courses with an open pre-enrolment period will be listed in the Virtual Teaching Secretary's Office, from the "Activities, courses and tests" > "Offer" > "Training and Teaching Innovation Programme” section.
The following request form will be exclusively used in the case of hired research staff without teaching in Teaching Organisation Plan.
Limit on the number of enrolments
A maximum of eight training activities from the General Plan and two from the On-Demand Training Plan may be carried out per academic year.
Cancellations
Persons admitted to a course who are unable to attend must notify the Training and Teaching Innovation Plan by e-mail at pfid [at] usc.es (pfid[at]usc[dot]es), so that their place can be offered to those on the waiting list.
The cancellation must be made at least three days prior to the start date of the course.
Failure to cancel under the terms set forth above or failure to complete the minimum attendance stipulated for each course (80% of its total duration) will be counted for the purposes of the annual course limit per user.

Only a maximum of 25 hours will be counted for the purposes of the (UTD) in the case of recognition of training activities of the Teaching and research staff.
The interested party must request the issue of this diploma by e-mail to pfid [at] usc.es (pfid[at]usc[dot]es) indicating the full name, National Id (DNI) and specifying that the issue of the University Teaching Diploma is requested.
