Recognition is given to training activities for the Teaching and Research Staff carried out and financed by the teaching and research centres, departments and research and innovation groups of the USC that wish to improve their practices.
Training activities are recognised according to the following requirements:
- The maximum number of hours recognised for each training activity shall be 20 hours.
- The minimum number of participants is 10 people.
- Only a maximum of two actions may be recognised per organisational entity and academic year.
Congresses and conferences for the dissemination of knowledge are excluded, except those specifically intended for the training of Teaching and Research Staff in the teaching field.
The activities will take place between September and July of the current academic year.
The scheduled activities will be contextualised to the particular situation of each centre and framed within one of the following Teaching Training and Innovation Programme training areas.
- Information and communication technologies applied to teaching.
- Methodology: teaching-learning strategies, tutoring, assessment.
- Professional development.
Applications shall conform to the standardised models, they shall be addressed to the PFID Coordination and shall be signed by the person responsible for the centre (dean or director) and by the person responsible for the training action. The application period will be open from October to June of each academic year.
