Teaching will comprise theoretical sessions; interactive ones; and individualized tutorials.
Theoretical teaching:
The teacher will explain the theoretical and practical contents of the subject, making use of master classes and turning to images (power point, videos) and text which shall favour the student’s understanding.
Interactive teaching:
Students will carry out assignments under academic supervision dealing with the contents of the programme. They will also analyse texts and images that enable them to put into practice the knowledge acquired during the theoretical sessions.
Individualized tutorials:
The teacher will track the students’ learning in order to solve their doubts concerning both the basic concepts of the subject and the assignments developed under academic supervision.
The global mark of the subject will be determined in its 100% by continuous assessment, and thus attending classes is compulsory. Missing more than 20% of the classes will imply the impossibility to be assessed in the first opportunity.
Grades will be shaped being 10 the maximum mark. This mark will derive from the activities developed during the interactive classes (30% of final qualification) and from a written exam of the contents of the subject (the remaining 70%). It is necessary to pass both parts individually so as to pass the subject in the first opportunity.
Following the Instruction Nº 1/2017 of Secretaría Xeral, students who are exempt from attendance in certain situations will be evaluated with a specific final exam (100%). Exemption from attendance must be authorized in advance by the university.
Second opportunity (July):
1. Students who have successfully passed the activities of the interactive classes will be able to preserve this mark and will only take a written exam in which the contents of the theoretical sessions will be assessed.
2. On the contrary, students who have failed the activities of the interactive classes must take a written exam in which the contents of both the theoretical and interactive sessions will be assessed.
