The main objective of the master's thesis is for students to apply in an integrated manner the knowledge and skills acquired in the master's courses. The specific content may consist of a proposal for the creation of a company or any other project related to the competencies of the master's program, as well as any research work in the areas of Business Organization, Marketing and Market Research, or Financial Economics and Accounting. The specific content will be defined for each individual thesis, according to the offer of topics and tutors that will be made each academic year.
Planning, preparation, presentation, and defense of an original work demonstrating the competencies acquired throughout the Master's studies, under the supervision of a Master's professor. This work will include, at a minimum, tasks such as searching and reviewing literature, reading and integrating information, drafting outlines, writing, presenting, and defending the final work. Depending on the topic addressed, it may also include an empirical part or a case analysis.

Supervision of the Master's Thesis for the planning and preparation of the Master's Thesis and its defense. The supervisor of the Master's Thesis will guide and advise the student on the documentary sources to use, the format and structure of the thesis, and finally, its subsequent preparation and presentation.
Presentation and defense of the Master's Thesis before a committee and/or supervisor, according to the established procedure.
Evaluation, by the committee and/or supervisor (according to the established procedure), of the content of the Master's Thesis (proposed objectives, depth of the analysis developed, methodology used, coherence and strength of the arguments, establishment and presentation of conclusions, breadth of the literature review, originality, and feasibility of the proposal).
Evaluation, by the committee and/or supervisor (according to the established procedure), of the structure and format of the Master's Thesis (expository structure and order, appropriate and coherent organization of the project, written communication skills, and compliance with established formatting standards).
Evaluation, by the committee and/or supervisor (according to the established procedure), of the presentation and defense of the Master's Thesis (clear and well-structured presentation, adherence to established time limits, appropriate use of supporting materials, communication skills (oral, gestural, and argumentation in response to questions and comments from the committee or supervisor).
The estimated time for completing the work is 150 hours.
