Within the framework of powers was designed for the Masters, it will work more specifically the following:
General
Apply the acquired knowledge and the ability to solve problems in new or unfamiliar environments within broader (or multidisciplinary) contexts fields.
Developing the skills of analysis, synthesis, comparison and communication.
Specific
Meet new developments in various fields of science and technology.
Become familiar with the language and reality of the scientific field and advanced technologies.
Understanding the complex relationship between the dynamics of scientific knowledge and its application in the field of production and service delivery.
The teaching methodology is based on lectures and practical sessions in which the teacher encourages active student participation (comments and discussion of texts, solving case studies and discussion of the results, papers and display them in class).
The student's score is a weighted average of the performance of the same in the two parts into which it is evaluated: works (70% of the score) and performance in the classroom, attendance and participation (30% of the score). It is therefore mandatory continuing attendance.
In cases of fraudulent performance of exercises or tests, the provisions of the: "Regulations for evaluating the academic performance of students and reviewing grades" will apply.
The subject has a workload of 3.0 ECTS, 1 ECTS corresponding to 25 hours of total work. The following table shows an approximate distribution of these hours indicated:
Activity................... Contact hours .......Personal Work.......TOTAL
Lectures...........................9................. .... 24..................33
Interactive classes ............12.... .......... .... 24................ 36
Tutoring .......................... 3 ............... .... 3 ... ............. 6
TOTAL..............................21......................51..................75
For optimal performance in the field, it is advisable that the student has a basic knowledge in mathematical calculation methods, English proficiency level and medium-level knowledge of IT user (Word, Excel, use email applications , see web pages). Finally, attendance is critical.
Languages: Teaching activities are taught in Spanish and Galician.
