The tutorial action is aimed at facilitating their integration into the institution and serves as a bridge between the students and the different services. In addition, it contributes to personalising university education and helps students in their training process for the degrees that are taught at the Centre.
The objectives of the Tutorial Action Plan are:
- To facilitate the integration of new students.
- To guide, support and advise students in their training process.
- To inform students about academic and professional issues that will allow them to plan their academic and professional future.
- To carry out a customised monitoring of students.
- To identify learning and organisational difficulties in the Degree studies in order to be able to analyse them and find a solution.
- To encourage students to participate in the life of the Faculty of Psychology and the University of Santiago de Compostela.
The USC academic performance evaluation policy allows an extraordinary tutorial support system to be established to help students overcome those subjects that present them with special difficulties.
Students enrolled in any degree, except those in postgraduate studies, may apply for it, provided they meet these requirements:
- To have a maximum of 18 credits or three subjects pending completion of the degree (excluding the calculation of the End of Degree Project, compulsory work placements, supervised work placements and the practicum).
- To have at least 2 calls for applications exhausted in each of the subjects for which they request support.
