Collaboration as a volunteer in the SantYaGo10K 2024 night race organised by the City Council of Santiago.
SantYaGo10K Night Race 2024
The 8th SantYaGo10K Night Race will take place on Saturday, 27 April 2024, at 10.00 p.m. It is an athletics event approved by the Royal Federation for both popular and federated runners, under the technical control of the Galician Athletics Federation. Around 1,500 runners are expected to participate.
As every year, the race is destined to a charitable cause and this year it will once again collaborate with the ENKI Project, which promotes inclusive sport with the aim of giving visibility to people with functional diversity.
The collaboration of volunteers is needed to be able to conduct the race, not only on the day of the race, but also the day before, Friday 26 April.
- Friday, 26 April, from 10.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. (bib pick-up only).
- Saturday, 27 April, from 10.00 a.m. to midnight (in the morning delivery of bibs, in the afternoon-evening the rest of the duties).
Some of the tasks to be performed include the following:
- Distribution of bibs.
- Direct the layout of the route.
- Collaborate during the presentation of trophies.
- Organise refreshments (both at the halfway point and at the finish line).
- Management of the cloakroom service.
All volunteers will receive a runner's bag with a T-shirt. They will also receive solid food and liquid refreshments.
Those interested in collaborating should sign up either through the Google Forms form below in the links or on the official website with the form inserted. There will be the possibility to collaborate in two-hour shifts throughout the day, so that you can choose the time you want to collaborate within a two-hour window.
