Este plan será coordinado y supervisado en cada universidad por la correspondiente Comisión Académica, y consistirá en:

1) Programa de tutoría individualizada por el cual se asignará un/a tutor/a académico/a entre el profesorado del Máster a cada uno/a alumno/a, que le orientará, desde el inicio hasta el final de sus estudios, en todo lo relativo a su currículo formativo, adquisición de competencias y resultados de aprendizaje, continuación de estudios de doctorado. Los/as tutores/as académicos tutorizarán también los Trabajos Fin de Máster.

2) Calendario de tutorías individualizadas con un mínimo de tres sesiones presenciales obligatorias distribuidas a lo largo del curso.

3) Reunión sobre el Prácticas externas y Trabajo fin de máster (TFM):

- Presentación de los centros psicogerontológicos ofertados para prácticas externas.
- Orientación sobre el TFM, organización y desarrollo del trabajo, calendario de actuaciones y presentaciones públicas.

4) Orientación sobre el TFM

Las orientaciones específicas sobre planificación y seguimiento de los TFM corresponderán a los/as tutores/as académicos.

5) Además, los/as estudiantes contarán con los servicios generales de apoyo y asesoramiento al estudiante en cada universidad.

1. To know in depth the different models of evaluation, diagnosis, intervention and treatment in the field of Psycho gerontology, as well as the techniques and procedures derived from them.
2. To plan, develop and supervise the psychogerontological evaluation process in the different contexts and fields of action.
3. To design, develop, supervise and evaluate intervention plans and programs and psychogerontological treatment based on previous evaluation and individual, social and institutional variables.
4. Good interpersonal communication and emotion management skills suitable for effective interaction with the elderly, family members, caregivers and other professionals involved in gerontological care.
5. To know in depth the normal and pathological aging process from the psychobiological, cognitive, personal and social point of view.
6. Ability to solve problems in new or less known areas within interdisciplinary contexts related to Psycho gerontology.
7. To know how to identify the ethical implications of the professional performance and comply with the ethical obligations of Psychology and other related professions, showing an ethical and professional commitment in relation to civic, social and global responsibilities.
8. To know how to identify and formulate research problems in the professional practice and contribute to their approach according to the research methods, techniques and procedures of health, social and behavioral sciences.

- Ser capaz de interpretar los resultados de una evaluación y de hacer un diagnóstico sobre las personas y/o situaciones evaluadas.
- Saber elaborar informes y comunicar los resultados de las evaluaciones con diferentes propósitos y para diferentes destinatarios.
- Saber planificar y desarrollar programas de intervención seleccionando los objetivos, los procedimientos y los instrumentos más apropiados en función de las características del problema y del contexto.
- Saber diseñar y desarrollar programas específicos relacionados con las trastornos psicológicos y los problemas sociales más frecuentes en personas mayores.
- Saber asesorar e intervenir en el ámbito familiar de las personas mayores tanto sanas como enfermas
- Saber diseñar y planificar programas de intervención ambiental y social que ayuden a mejorar la calidad de vida de las personas mayores
- Conocer los recursos y la organización del sistema de atención sociosanitaria a las personas mayores.
- Saber adecuar las actuaciones al marco legal y administrativo correspondiente y promover los cambios que se consideren nesarios para mejorar la atención a las personas mayores.
- Saber identificar y formular problemas de investigación y participar en el diseño y desarrollo de proyectos de investigación en Psicogerontología.
- Conocer, aplicar e interpretar análisis de datos aplicados al estudio del envejecimiento.
- Saber aplicar las teorías sobre el envejecimiento en la conceptualización de los casos y situaciones concretos.

Mobility

La movilidad de los/as estudiantes está regulada a través del “Reglamento de intercambios interuniversitarios”. A través de la Oficina de Relaciones Exteriores se gestionan programas de intercambio tanto nacionales (SICUE), como europeos (ERASMUS) y extracomunitarios (intercambios con países de América Latina o países de habla inglesa):

Internships

Para realizar las Prácticas externas será requisito haber superado la totalidad de créditos obligatorios. La planificación temporal garantiza que el/la estudiante podrá cursar la totalidad de los créditos obligatorios.

Se trata de que el alumno aplique los conocimientos adquiridos en las materias obligatorias y optativas como profesional psicólogo en los distintos centros en los que se realicen las prácticas, demostrando que se han adquirido conocimientos, actitudes y habilidades para enfrentarse con eficiencia y profesionalidad a las tareas de evaluación e intervención psicológica con personas mayores sanas y enfermas en los contextos familiares e institucionales.

Todas las Universidades han firmado convenios con Entidades de Atención a personas mayores para la realización de Prácticas externas, las cuales cuentan en su plantilla con al menos un psicólogo/a que podrá ejercer las funciones de tutor/a externo.

Los estudiantes consensuarán con el tutor el tópico o tema a tratar en su Trabajo de Fin de Máster dentro de su ámbito disciplinar y temático.

Para iniciar la elaboración del trabajo se recomienda haber superado las materias Obligatorias del Máster. Según a RD de 11 de diciembre de 2009, para presentar el trabajo será requisito haber superado todas las demás materias del Máster.

El Trabajo de Fin de Máster es un trabajo original, autónomo e individual de cada estudiante. Se realizará bajo la supervisión de un director o de una directora que orientará y asistirá al estudante. El estudante acordará con su director o directora la secuenciación y temporización de tareas a realizar, y culminará con una defensa oral del trabajo ante una comisión designada por la Comisión Académica de entre el profesorado del Máster.
