The master's degree is geared toward the acquisition of specialised and advanced multidisciplinary training in Educational Science, with an emphasis on cultural diversity and educational development processes.

At the same, it time encourages students' initiation in research tasks, applicable in professional socioeducational environments and offers the possibility to access the PhD Program in Education.

Para acceder aos ensinos oficiais de Máster será necesario estar en posesión de:
A.1. Un título universitario oficial español.
A.2. Un título expedido por unha institución de educación superior pertencente a outro Estado integrante do Espazo Europeo de Educación Superior que faculte no mesmo para o acceso a ensinos de Máster.
A.3. Un título pertencente a un sistema educativo alleo ao Espazo Europeo de Educación, previa comprobación pola Universidade de que o citado título acredita un nivel de formación equivalente aos correspondentes títulos universitarios oficiais españois e faculta no país expedidor do título para o acceso a ensinos de posgrao.
A.4. Un título superior das Ensinanzas Artísticas Superiores do sistema educativo español.

Admission

3º Licenciaturas y grados en ciencias Jurídicas y Sociales / Humanidades

Los alumnos procedentes de países de lengua diferente al galego, portugués o español deberán acreditar el nivel de lengua gallega Celga II, o española B2, de acuerdo con el Acuerdo del Consello de Goberno da USC de 28 de febrero de 2019.
Si non poseen alguno de los títulos, la USC les realizará una prueba de nivel y, de no superala, deberán asistir a un curso intensivo de gallego o español en el primeir semestre hasta que consigan el nivel requerido.

- Poseer y comprender conocimientos que aporten una base u oportunidad de ser originales en el desarrollo y/o aplicación de ideas, a menudo en un contexto de investigación
- Que los estudiantes sepan aplicar los conocimientos adquiridos y su capacidad de resolución de problemas en entornos nuevos o poco conocidos dentro de contextos más amplios (o multidisciplinares) relacionados con su área de estudio
- Que los estudiantes sean capaces de integrar conocimientos y enfrentarse a la complejidad de formular juicios a partir de una información que, siendo incompleta o limitada, incluya reflexiones sobre las responsabilidades sociales y éticas vinculadas a la aplicación de sus conocimientos y juicios
- Que los estudiantes sepan comunicar sus conclusiones y los conocimientos y razones últimas que las sustentan a públicos especializados y no especializados de un modo claro y sin ambigüedades
- Que los estudiantes posean las habilidades de aprendizaje que les permitan continuar estudiando de un modo que habrá de ser en gran medida autodirigido o autónomo

- Apply the knowledge acquired for resolution in new or little-known environments within multidisciplinary contexts related to their area of study.
- Integrate knowledge and deal with the complexity of making judgements based on information that, being incomplete or limited, includes reflections on the social and ethical responsibilities linked to the application of their knowledge and judgements.
- Communicate conclusions and the knowledge and ultimate reasons behind them to specialised and non-specialised audiences in a clear and unambiguous manner.
- Make use of the learning skills that allow one to continue studying in a mainly self-directed or autonomous way.

- Reconocer la dimensión científica del proceso investigador en el área socio-histórico-educativa
- Vincular el conocimiento científico, la investigación educativa y sus aportes metodológicos a los procesos cambio socioeducativo
- Aplicar modelos y procedimientos de investigación a problemas concretos de la educación, asociando sus contribuciones a procesos de acción-intervención educativa y a la implementación de programas
- Adquirir un dominio básico de los fundamentos epistemológicos, teóricos y metodológicos de la investigación cualitativa en el conocimiento y la transformación de las realidades sociales
- Conocer los principales enfoques y estrategias de la evaluación de programas en la intervención socio-comunitaria

- Conocer y respetar la Declaración Universal de los Derechos Humanos, fomentando una cultura de paz, la conciencia democrática y una resolución pacífica de conflictos así como los mecanismos básicos para la participación ciudadana como ejercicio que rige la elaboración de las Memorias de Responsabilidad Social Universitaria de la USC
- Incorporar los principios de igualdad de género entre hombres y mujeres y de accesibilidad universal según las recomendaciones de la USC en su II Plan Estratégico de Igualdad de Oportunidades entre Mujeres y Hombres, los Criterios de Elaboración de un Lenguaje Profesional y No Sexista y el Protocolo de Prevención y Actuación frente al Acoso Sexual y al Acoso por Razón de Sexo, Orientación Sexual e Identidad de Género
- Desarrollar aptitudes para el trabajo cooperativo y colaborativo a través de la participación en equipos; dentro y fuera del aula, empleando habilidades de negociación y responsabilidades en el desempeño de las tareas asignadas en las materias y módulos del Máster. Presentación y elección de valores como son el esfuerzo, respeto y compromiso con la búsqueda de la calidad en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje como signo de identidad
- Generar una actitud para la sostenibilidad ambiental y el consumo responsable desde los principios que rigen el Plan de Desarrollo Sostenible de la USC
- Desarrollar valores profesionales desde los distintos grupos de investigación presentes en el Máster para poder defender una ética de la investigación en el ámbito de la educación, donde se respete la diversidad de opiniones y las maneras de «ser», «estar» y «hacer»

Mobility

La movilidad de los/as estudiantes está regulada a través del “Reglamento de intercambios interuniversitarios”. A través de la Oficina de Relaciones Exteriores se gestionan programas de intercambio tanto nacionales (SICUE), como europeos (ERASMUS) y extracomunitarios (intercambios con países de América Latina o países de habla inglesa): Portal Internacional

Los contenidos del trabajo fin de máster se vincularán a las temáticas de las líneas de investigación desarrolladas por cada uno de los grupos que participan en el máster.

The teaching staff consists of professors from the University, belonging to three research groups with an extensive background (Grupo SEPA-Interea; Grupo ESCULCA; Grupo Tercera Generación) and a recently created group (Grupo Edunartex), as well as by external collaborators who work in Spanish, Brazilian and Portuguese universities. The support staff also consists of other members who work in different educational fields (regulated and non-regulated).
