Mandatory insurance:
20,69€ (Students who formally enroll in their own Postgraduate courses, Continuous Training and Training Program, will also be included the amount of mandatory accident insurance and travel assistance for USC students, as established in current regulations (Council Agreement Government June 29, 2009) and will be issued together with the 1st liquidation of registration. Except in the courses that are 100% virtuous, considered these by academic year; and in the cases in which the students have paid this same insurance in a USC degree in the current academic year.)

Selection system
Orden de preinscripción.
All the personnel that work in radioactive facilities (hospital services for nuclear medicine or radiotherapy, research or industrial facilities, etc.) must obtain the corresponding regulatory license required by Royal Decree 1217/2024 conceded, granted by the Nuclear Safety Council (known by its Spanish acronym CSN). Said regulation establishes the requirement for licence applicants to demonstrate the necessary knowledge of nuclear safety and radiation protection by completing specific training courses accredited by the CSN.
These courses consist of a general and common first part dealing with the nature of radiation, associated risks and preventive measures, and a second part oriented to techniques applied in the usual activities of the specific speciality to be developed. The demand for this type of courses, originated by the increasing creation of new radioactive facilities of diverse application, motivated the organization of this course. The aim is to acquire the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to obtain the regulatory supervisor license to work in radioactive facilities. The specialty that addressed in the present course corresponds to the field of Nuclear Medicine, aimed at hospital services.
The course includes a face-to-face part, in which the theoretical lessons will be delivered by university-qualified experts in each subject and will be complemented with seminars and exercises. Practical lessons will be delivered by specialists with recognized professional experience and will take place in facilities suitable for the subject matter. The on-line section of the course will be delivered through the CESGA Virtual Classroom platform. The evaluation of the knowledge acquired by the students will be performed through a multiple-choice test proposed by the CSN
Evaluation
Prueba escrita tipo test realizada por el Consejo de Seguridad Nuclear. La prueba constará de unas 60 preguntas distribuidas en bloques correspondientes a las áreas básicas y específicas.
La superación de la prueba supondrá un mínimo del 75% de aciertos.
Tutoring
El curso y las materias se programarán según el condicionado de homologación del mismo por el CSN.
