Enrolment

If the degree in which you are admitted is taught at the USC, you must formalise the enrolment.

Before starting the process please consult the Enrolment visual guide. It will be of use to you to process your enrolment.

If you have a technical incident during the enrolment process, you can contact the Service Desk staff by telephone (881 811 000 - 55555) or by e-mail (cau [at] usc.gal (cau[at]usc[dot]gal)).

You must choose the options:

  • Enrolment
  • Degree
  • Start

You will be asked for the number of your identity document (DNI, etc.) and your date of birth.

The programme will retrieve the personal data from your pre-enrolment.  If you want to change some data, you must do so before clicking the save option.

Where the "Address during the course" is requested, if you still do not know where you are going to live during the course, you must put the address of the family home in both sections. Once you have a permanent address for the course, you can modify these details.

The degree you are going to study is already selected by default

In this section you must indicate if you have any type of exemption or if you have thought about applying for a scholarship.

You can see in which cases you are entitled to the exemption or subsidy of fees on the screen itself.

If you are going to apply for a scholarship from the Ministry of Education, mark it even if you have not yet applied for it (the application period for these scholarships usually runs from August to mid-October).

If you are a scholarship applicant, you will not pay the tuition fee for the moment: you only have to pay the secretary office fees.

If the Ministry of Education denies you the scholarship, you will have to pay the registration fee within 15 working days after the date on which the Ministry of Education's decision is communicated to you.

If you are a 1st year student, you must register for 60 credits.

In most degrees this is equivalent to all subjects in the 1st year, so in this case you cannot choose the subjects, and you just have to click "next" and accept.

If the degree you wish to take offers more than 60 credits, you will have to choose between several optional subjects.

Read the information provided by the application carefully and choose the optional subjects you wish to take. Please note that the total credits must be 60, except for double degree degrees.

You must indicate how you wish to pay the price of your degree.

There are several payment methods:

  • Bank deposit/cash. You must print two copies with the amount and pay this in any of the branches of the banks listed at the bottom of the registration form (Abanca, Caixa Rural Galega, La Caixa or Banco Santander).  It is not necessary to deliver any copies to the university. Keep your copy stamped by the bank.
  • Direct Debit You must enter the number of the account where you want the amount to be charged. You must be the owner or co-owner of the account.
  • Debit or credit card Enter the number of the card, credit or debit card, where you want the amount to be charged.

Select the payment option. If you wish to take advantage of the instalment payment method, you will have to pay by direct debit. Payment by instalments in cash or by credit card will not be accepted.
Payment terms are as follows:

In a single instalment, you must make the payment within 10 working days after the completion of the registration.

Divided, in 3 instalments:

  • 1st payment 50 % within 10 days of enrolment
  • 2nd payment 25 % in the first 10 days of December.
  • 3rd payment 25 % in the first 10 days of March.

To complete the enrolment process you must complete the required data for statistical purposes.

When you finish the enrolment process, the computer application will tell you:

  1. The place and documentation to be delivered or returned by post within 10 days. Print this screen.
  2. The link to print your user credentials.
  3. The receipt for your enrolment.  If you have chosen the cash payment option, two copies will be generated, one for the bank and one for you. If you have chosen any other payment option, a single copy will be generated. Print it as a supporting document.
