BASIC:
CB1.That students have demonstrated possessing and understanding knowledge in an area of study
which starts from the basis of general secondary education, and is usually found at a level that, although it is
supports advanced textbooks, also includes some aspects that involve knowledge
from the forefront of their field of study;
CB2. That students know how to apply their knowledge to their work or vocation in a way professional and possess the competences that are usually demonstrated through the elaboration and defense of arguments and problem solving within your area of study
GENERAL:
GC1. Be able, in the field of nursing, to provide technical and professional health care appropriate to the health needs of the people they serve, according to the status of development of the scientific knowledge of each moment and with the levels of quality and safety that are established in the applicable legal and deontological norms.
GC2. Plan and provide nursing care aimed at individuals, families or groups, oriented to health outcomes by evaluating their impact, through clinical and healthcare practice guidelines, which describe the processes by which a health problem is diagnosed, treated, or cared for.
TRANSVERSE:
CT1. Ability to apply knowledge to practice.
CT6. Basic knowledge of the profession.
CT7. Capacity for analysis and synthesis.
CT9. Ability to make decisions.
CT14. Information management skills (ability to search for and analyze information from various sources).
SPECIFIC:
EC2. Know the use and indication of medical devices linked to nursing care.
EC7. Know the pathophysiological processes and their manifestations and the risk factors that determine
the states of health and disease at different stages of the life cycle.
EC13(ANECA). Ability to implement health and safety principles, including patient mobilization and management, infection control, basic first aid and patient management procedures emergency (using the skills...)
EXPOSITIVE CLASSES
20hours in person (4 hours per week)
INTERACTIVE LAB CLASSES
The interactive laboratory classes will be in-person (4hours)
TUTORING
1.5h per student
From the beginning of the course, the virtual classroom of the subject will be activated.
- Theory.- Continuous evaluation combined with a final exam.
Continuous evaluation will be performed in a virtual mode using tools from the Moodle platform or with a work indicated by the teacher, and will represent 20% of the final note.
The final exam will be carried out in person and will represent 70% of the final grade.
- Practices.- Compulsory attendance to all face-to-face practices and to be able to submit to the final exam. Students will take a synchronous telematics exam on the basics, methodology and results obtained. The grade of this exam will represent 10% of the final grade.
The practice and continuous evaluation notes will only be counted if the student has a grade equal to or greater than 4 in the final theory exam.
The practice note, if approved, will only be maintained during the following two academic courses
About 2 hours per week.
Comprehensive study and not study by rote, linking the contents of the subject with those of related subjects.
Regular attendance to class.
To follow the teacher’s recommendations that could arise along the course.
