To Provide students with an overview of the various dominant theoretical frameworks and decision-making techniques. Understand the core elements of the public decision-making process. Develop individual and teamwork skills by learning to analyze information, identify the most important ideas, and summarize them orally and in writing.
In-person master classes and practical classes dedicated to the study and analysis of real-life cases of public decision-making and the theoretical study of decision-making.
In-person seminars for group research projects on current public decisions.
The theoretical component will be assessed in a final exam in which the student will be questioned about the content studied.
The exam will consist of the development of at least two sections of the course syllabus. 40% grade.
Review of the research work in the interactive seminars. 50% grade.
40% of that grade is linked to compulsory attendance from a minimum of 80%.
The assessment will be completed with an evaluation of the practical work carried out in seminars and tutorials, and an assessment of attendance and participation in classes. 10% grade.
To be eligible for the three grades, a minimum of 2 points on the exam is required.
If you are exempt, you must pass an oral exam. 100% of the grade.
