1. To provide the necessary knowledge to understand the basic problems of farm management milk integrating technical information with the economic analysis and for improving the results:
a) Integrating financial, operational, strategic, market concepts and risk
b) by understanding the methods and tools for decision making
2.) Improving critical thinking skills of students
PROGRAM THEORY. (12 HOURS).
1.The market and agricultural policies in the dairy chain.
2.The technical and economic basis of milk production.
3.The inventory of the dairy farm and organization of productive resources.
4.The economic and financial accounts.
5. Budgeting and improvement plans
6. Strategic management: external and internal analysis of exploitation
7.Trend and comparative analysis of dairy farms

Being able to apply the knowledge gained in the business management with others in the dairy production. Taking decisions considering technical, economic, social and environmental aspects

-the reasoning and argumentation of individual work with self-critical attitude
-obtaining adequate, diverse and updated information
-resolving problems through the integrated application of knowledge
Presentation and development of the fundamental contents of the subject by the teacher, through theoretical explanations and practical examples. During the sessions students will be encouraged to actively participate by solving practical cases.
The use of virtual USC platform will help speed the bidirectional flow of information between student and teacher, providing agility to the teaching of the subject, and facilitating access of the documentation for the students
Compulsory assistance to all classroom activities.
Compulsory examination of a theoretical and practical character of the contents of the program: 4.0.
Presentation and defense of a report summarizing the participation in the practical sessions: 6.0.
