• Integrating the conceptual and methodological basis of Psychiatry in clinical and epidemiological areas
• Understanding the implications of developmental particularities of basic and clinic research in psychiatric disorders
• Getting the importance in identification and classification criteria of psychiatric case
• Training in the management of specialized literature and main screening instruments in psychiatric pathologies.
1. EXPOSITORY SESSIONS: through theoretical teaching with audiovisual support, main objectives will be presented and key concepts included in the program will be developed.
2. INTERACTIVE SESSIONS: Seminars and practical activities will be focused on learning skills and abilities in relation with the application of the research designs in Psychiatry.
3. TUTORING: In order to guide and supervise competences learning, individual and small group tutoring will be organized, in personal and/or individual modalities.
Classroom assistance to both expositor and interactive sessions will be required, and during their development it will be a continuous evaluation. In particular, content of the reports presented, interventions from the students, their style and clarity of exposition, their ability to answer the questions raised by other students and the teacher, as well as the participation and interest showed in the teaching sessions will be assessment.
1. Expository sessions: 9 hours of attendance , and 13.5 hours of personal work
2. Interactive sessions: 12 hours of attendance , and 24 hours of personal work
3. Tutoring: 3 hours of attendance , and 1.5 hours of personal work
4. Evaluation: 6 hours of attendance , and 6 hours of personal work
5. TOTAL: 45 hours (30 hours of attendance , and 45 hours of personal work)
• Regular assistance and participation to classes, seminars and practices
• Periodical review of key concepts by using the recommended bibliography in order to extend the information
• Raising doubts theoretical-practical and theoretical
• Using tutoring in order to solve difficulties in learning
