Design, implementation and evaluation of health programs.

Competences of the degree to which the subject contributes:
o Will be able to identify the health problems of the community, analyze them in its various aspects (biomedical, environmental, social, economic and legal), by applying the epidemiological methodology, and propose the adoption of the most appropriate preventive measures.
Specific competences of the subject:
o Identify the health problems of a community that may be susceptible to being treated through health programs.
o Introduce the student in the design and implementation of health programs.
Critically evaluate a health program applied to a community and analyze it from different perspectives
o Detect the strengths and weaknesses of a health program, proposing improvement actions.
o Know the main health programs implemented in the Autonomous Community
Different distance learning techniques will be used through the options provided by the Moodle platform (lesson, discussion forums, tasks, etc.), including those that encourage discussion and collaborative work.
The assessment system is based on continuous evaluation, by monitoring the tasks and the various virtual campus tools (Moodle) that allow the development of individual or collaborative work. The student who does not pass the subject in the first opportunity will have to carry out new tasks exposed by the teacher in the second opportunity.
For cases of fraudulent performance of exercises or tests, the provisions of the" Regulations for the evaluation of the academic performance of students and the review of grades" will apply.
The student will dedicate a minimum of 51 hours to the study of the documents provided by the teacher, the bibliographical search and the preparation of tasks and / or works.
To pass the subject it will be enough to dedicate the necessary time to the reading and study of the recommended bibliography and the materials delivered, as well as present the tasks requested by the teacher throughout the course in the corresponding term.
The preparation of the subject does not present special difficulties.
It is advisable to update not just the material uploaded at the virtual USC but the exercises and tasks proposed by the teacher
