The specialisation of professionals is an increasingly growing demand, both for the patient who comes to a consultation, as well as for the dentist himself, who understands the need to complete his training as something essential in his future work. The important thing is that the knowledge acquired is solid and backed by science, and in orthodontics this is even more evident as its aim is to correct maxillary osseo-dental anomalies. The great influence exerted by other parts of the organism on the maxillo-dental area forces us to extend the field of study to the territories surrounding the entire stomatognathic apparatus; in this way we try to re-establish the functional and aesthetic harmony of the teeth and the face in general.
They will have to pass a system of continuous evaluations by USC and external teaching staff in order for the students to be recognised as specialists in Orthodontics in accordance with European regulations.
Evaluation
Continuous assessment and end-of-master's exam with presentation of clinical cases similar to the boards of the various international scientific societies.
