Law 26/2015 makes it compulsory for all professionals and volunteers who work in regular contact with minors to obtain negative certificates from the Central Register for Sex Offenders.
Students who intend to enrol in subjects with work placements in contact with minors must submit the negative certificate together with the application for the work placement centre.
Students who do not meet the requirement will not be allowed to do the work placements.
All USSW students enrolled in Work Placements must submit a copy of the certificate to the centre.
To request the sex offender’s certificate, it is necessary to be registered in the CL@VE system (specific certification management system of the Ministry of Justice) or to have one of the two electronic certificates of the @firma platform, which are:
- Digital certificate issued by the Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre (FNMT)
- DNI-e (Electronic National Identity Card)
This has to be processed in this Ministry of Justice link.
If you do not have these certificates, you can apply online and then go to one of the branches of the CL@VE Registry Office Network at the Tax Office, Social Security Office, Public Employment Service or Government Delegation.
