Service-Learning (S-L) is a proposal for educational innovation in which the teaching-learning processes are optimised while at the same time favouring the acquisition of professional skills and the reinforcement of civic-social commitment with the community. The USC initiated a process of institutionalisation of S-L, within the strategy of social responsibility and educational innovation of its academic project, to optimise the teaching-learning processes, favour the acquisition of professional skills and strengthen social commitment to the community.
