Volunteering with ethnic minorities.
Arraianas is a non-profit organisation currently working in the region of Santiago de Compostela and neighbouring municipalities. They intervene in various areas, providing support to migrants and women, with a view to promoting equal opportunities and their active participation in society.
They are an interdisciplinary team made up of people with diverse professional backgrounds, which allows them to offer a series of specialised services such as legal, social, psychological, socio-educational and socio-occupational care.
Volunteering in intervention
Supporting the technical team of the entity in various areas such as:
- Workshops and/or socio-educational reinforcement for minors participating in the Ayni and NosOtras programmes.
- In undertaking workshops for participants of the entity in the area of social and labour inclusion.
- By accompanying migrants participating in the programmes in their process of adaptation to the host society.
- In the activity of the Huerta de Arraianas.
- Digital skills development and language acquisition activity.
- Support for participants in the preparation of official exams.
- Timetable: Monday to Friday, depending on the activity.

Volunteering in management issues
Supporting the work carried out in the office such as:
- In awareness-raising campaigns, as well as support for the maintenance and management of social networks.
- Maintenance of the website as well as the entity's computer applications.
- Document management and administrative or logistical activities.
- Timetable: Monday to Friday, depending on the activity.

Volunteering in intercultural mediation
Supporting the entity's technical team in the:
- Translation of documents into different languages.
- Support in simultaneous translation in order to facilitate communication with people who do not speak our language.
