Se prevé ampliar el sistema de tutorización tradicional incorporando diferentes figuras y actividades que permitan garantizar y canalizar un seguimiento completo del alumnado. A estos efectos, se propondrán las figuras de: tutores, coordinadores de módulo, coordinadores de asignatura, directores de la memoria final de Máster, tutorías y comité de evaluación. Los tutores serán designados entre el profesorado del curso que cuente con mayor experiencia en docencia en máster. Tendrán a su cargo a un grupo de alumnos y se ocuparán de realizar un seguimiento personal y continuo, observando su progreso y resolviendo sus dudas. Con ese propósito se convocarán reuniones periódicas y se realizarán una tutoría colectiva con su grupo.

Al mismo tiempo, trasladarán a otros profesores o especialistas las cuestiones de carácter más técnico que se planteen. En definitiva, serán el medio que permita integrar al alumnado en la globalidad del curso. Se designarán coordinadores de materias para unificar los contenidos teórico-prácticos en la docencia impartida por varios profesores. Todas las interacciones entre el alumnado y el profesorado que surjan se canalizarán a través de tutorías (vía mail, chat, teléfono, hadoop...). Estas tendrán un horario y lugar predefinido en la programación, que podrá variar en función de la conciliación docente ¿ laboral de alumnos y profesores. Finalmente, se constituirá un Comité de evaluación integrado por los tutores y la comisión coordinadora del máster con su Director.

Para acceder aos ensinos oficiais de Máster será necesario estar en posesión de:
A.1. Un título universitario oficial español.
A.2. Un título expedido por unha institución de educación superior pertencente a outro Estado integrante do Espazo Europeo de Educación Superior que faculte no mesmo para o acceso a ensinos de Máster.
A.3. Un título pertencente a un sistema educativo alleo ao Espazo Europeo de Educación, previa comprobación pola Universidade de que o citado título acredita un nivel de formación equivalente aos correspondentes títulos universitarios oficiais españois e faculta no país expedidor do título para o acceso a ensinos de posgrao.
A.4. Un título superior das Ensinanzas Artísticas Superiores do sistema educativo español.

Internships

El/la estudiante del Máster en Optometría debe, de forma obligatoria, cursar 8 créditos ECTS de Prácticas externas. Para favorecer la realización de estas prácticas la Universidad ha puesto en marcha una serie de convenios con diferentes instituciones clínicas, así como la Clínica Optométrica de la USC, donde los/las estudiantes podrán formarse en atención clínica a pacientes externos. Estas prácticas tienen como finalidad el ejercicio de todas las técnicas y metodologías estudiadas previamente.

El/la estudiante deberá realizar un trabajo de fin de máster de 10 ECTS (equivalente a un tiempo de trabajo de 250 horas) en el que deberá desarrollar un trabajo tutelado de investigación, básica o clínica, o de revisión bibliográfica, que permita comprobar la autonomía del futuro egresado en su desarrollo profesional.
