The University Historical Archive offers consultation, reprography and advice and guidance services with the following quality commitments.

The quality commitments of the University Historical Archive are as follows:

  • Personalised information for researchers who visit the Archive for the first time about the structure and content of its documentary collections, providing them with the means for immediate access and consultation and offering them attention and advice from specialised staff.
  • Delivery of the requested documentation to the researchers' room within a maximum period of one hour.
  • Booking of units at the facility, up to a maximum of 2 units for two days, at the user's request.
  • Issue of attendance sheets in the researchers' room within 24 hours.
  • Immediate response to telephone enquiries about general information.
  • Response to enquiries by fax, post and e-mail within a maximum period of 1 month from receipt at the Archive.
  • Reproduction requested in the Room:
    • Photocopies of originals up to a maximum of 15, within a maximum period of 48 hours, provided that the characteristics of the documentation so permit.
    • Reproductions of digitised documents up to a maximum of 15, within a maximum period of 48 hours.
    • When non-digitised documents are requested, and which cannot be photocopied due to their condition, the delivery time will depend on the availability of the digitisation service.
  • Reproduction of documents requested from the Archive by fax, post or e-mail within a maximum period of 1 month, up to a maximum of 100 reproductions.
  • Delivery of certified copies of non-university documents, which serve to prove citizens' rights, within a period not exceeding one month.
  • Valuation of documents for temporary exhibitions within a period not exceeding 3 months.
