In general, the documentary collections may be reproduced, except for those for which there are legal limitations, especially with regard to the protection of personal data, or because their state of conservation does not allow it.
The existing means of reproduction subject to the payment of a fee are:
- Photocopying.
- Printing of digital images.
- Digitisation.
Users are also allowed to take photographs with their own mobile devices (telephones and tablets) or compact cameras. This is not subject to payment of a fee but requires prior authorisation from the technical staff of the research room and the submission of the completed, signed application form for the registration and control of the reproduction.
The use of this self-copying service must be carried out in accordance with the terms and conditions and the reproduction procedure indicated in the rules for the use of the self-copying service in the USC Historical Archive researchers' room.
Requests for reproduction can be made in person at the centre itself, by filling in the corresponding form, by e-mail or through the ARQUS application.
