Strengthen the ideation and analysis capacities of audiovisual works in order to maximize their creativity, potential, location and preferred targets.
Study and analyze audiovisual products through the theories of signification that led to a theory of discourse, as well as a theory of the text; also through a theory of the spectacle.
Establish a system of analysis based on the detection of the levels or registers that make up the audiovisual text, on the detection of intertextuality; as well as in the analysis of the relationship of the work with its referent.
1. The productive concept of audiovisual content: the imposition of a new paradigm.
2. The ineffectiveness of communication theories in the face of the hypermodern media spectacle.
3. The loss of the status of spectator and the emergence of the prosumer.
4. The assumption of the logic of hypervisibility through new electronic devices.
5. Multiplatform audiovisual production: dilution of borders and hybridization.
6. The television formats of the denunciation, the staging of intimacy, the daily life of death.
7. Audiovisual content for social networks: critical approach, from the text to the hypercontratext.
Practical contents:
5 individual exercises will be carried out during the four-month period. The topics to be addressed will be indicated within the framework of the interactive classrooms and to be carried out on site.

The subject will be addressed by exposing the topics in which it is organized.
Likewise, during the practical sessions, the analysis of audiovisual content will be undertaken.
50% exam at the end of the semester. 50% realization of practical exercises of audiovisual content analysis.
In case of dispensation, a personalized plan will be prepared, providing the students with the slide support that is generated for the expositive classes. Students with a waiver will be informed by email of the characteristics of the practical exercises and their delivery date. The practical work requested will account for 50% of the grade, while the theoretical part will be evaluated with a final exam and will account for the remaining 50% of the final grade.
In the case of plagiarism or improper use of technologies in carrying out tasks or tests: "For cases of fraudulent carrying out of exercises or tests, the rules for evaluating the academic performance of students and reviewing grades will be applied."
In accordance with current USC regulations for Undergraduate and Master's students (art. 5.2), mere attendance, as well as participation in any of the activities carried out in interactive classes, will be subject to evaluation and, in Consequently, the final grade of the student who completes them will in no case be "Not Presented".
