In the case of files, a comprehensive program of cataloging, description, restoration and dissemination of different types of funds which houses the institution. In the case of libraries, they also develop a program of cataloging and description as well as restoration, historical bookbinding; editing and image banks and specialized databases in such funds.
In both cases they learn the use of new technologies applied to the aforementioned activities.
The practicum consists of two parts: the first is an informative phase, in which students are knowledgeable about the issues, methods and techniques of practical work they will perform. The second, more important and fundamental, corresponds to the practice itself, in which not only the phase of stay in the center of destination but also the phase of reflection in which the student develops his practice report is included.

* Generic competences:

* Specific competences:
-CE1 Know, at an advanced level, bibliographic resources and primary sources for the study of Modern History of Spain and especially in the area of the Monarchy of Spain.
-CE2 Being able to prepare, organize and develop advanced studies in history and documentation of historical archives and libraries relating to the monarchy of Spain.
-CE3 Analyze and interpret historical documents advanced level of the XVI-XVIII centuries.
-CE4 Adapting to a professional environment, understand its operating structure in its entirety.

The tutor of the collaborating organization conducted and forwarded to tutor / Academic University a final report at the end of the internship, which will include the number of hours worked by students and which will assess the following mentioned aspects in their case, both generic and the specific powers under the corresponding training project.
Once halfway through the duration of the practices could be developed an interim monitoring report.
The student will develop and deliver the tutor / academic college a final report at the end of the internship
Students who do not participate in any meetings of the PAE or missing 20% of them can not be valued positively ECPs.
-Based On the inputs set forth in the Master Teacher's Guide, the evaluation shall be established according to the following: report (40%) professional tutor; Corrected internship final report by Academician Tutor (40%); Continuous assessment of attendance and participation in classroom sessions (10%); evaluation of practical work, theoretical or book reviews (10%).
In the current curriculum of the Master ECPs they develop in the second quarter of last year, with a total of 10 ECTS optional credits.
In each of the credit periods are divided into three phases as follows:
-Phase Preparation. The curriculum is consiguir sense that the / the student is aware of skills, strategies, tools provided in the overall process of training in various subjects and reflect on their use. That are assigned to the following hours:
01 ECTS credits.
Students who do not participate in training sessions or missing 20% of them can not be valued positively ECPs.
-Phase Stay. Curricular sense is to come into direct contact with the institution for the activities to be established. That are assigned to the following hours:
07 ECTS credits.
Students who do not participate in practices or missing 20% of them can not be valued positively ECPs.
-Phase Reflection. Sense curriculum is to help students reflect on the situations observed in the centers, as well as their own performance in the interventions carried out, providing tools for analysis and reflection. That are assigned to the following hours:
02 ECTS credits.
Students not involved at this stage or missing 20% of it can not be valued positively ECPs.
It is estimated that face activities, including the briefing, the practices themselves and tutorials about will total approximately 200 hours; while the remaining 50 correspond to non-contact activities related to the autonomous student work, more specifically with the completion of the practice report. A total number about 250 hours.
