The master's degree prepares graduates in diplomas or degrees related to labour relations to reach a high level of professional qualification in the field of labour audits, labour direction and management of human resources in the company, taking an eminently applied approach. This master’s has 60 credits, and has the following objectives:

  • To improve professionalism and increase academic training for graduates in qualifications related to labour relations and human resources.
  • To respond to extensive social demand among graduates of the area of social and legal sciences.
  • To develop an inter-university programme in which the three Galician universities are involved at the same level, generating quality teaching through the mobility of teachers and students.
  • To provide students with a comprehensive education, preparing high-level professionals in the field of socio-labour auditing, labour direction and management of human resources in the company.

It is an interuniversity master's degree with the universities of A Coruña and Vigo.

El tronco común del máster se imparte en el primer semestre en las tres universidades. En el segundo semestre cada universidad impartirá las materias de la correspondiente especialización.

El alumno deberá matricularse en las materias optativas correspondientes a la especialidad que elija. No se podrá expedir el título si el estudiante no ha completado alguna de las especialidades. Si el estudiante realiza todas las materias vinculadas a cada una de las especialidades podrá obtener el título de Máster con las tres especialidades.

Los estudiantes podrán ser alumnos de una universidad y matricularse en materias de la otra universidad sin someterse a un traslado de expediente de acuerdo con lo que establezca el Convenio.

Desde el inicio del curso, cada alumno contará con un tutor para la orientación personalizada de sus estudios. Los tutores serán asignados por la coordinación del Máster entre los profesores con docencia en el mismo. Ningún profesor tutorizará a más de dos alumnos.

Access

Para acceder aos ensinos oficiais de Máster será necesario estar en posesión de:
A.1. Un título universitario oficial español.
A.2. Un título expedido por unha institución de educación superior pertencente a outro Estado integrante do Espazo Europeo de Educación Superior que faculte no mesmo para o acceso a ensinos de Máster.
A.3. Un título pertencente a un sistema educativo alleo ao Espazo Europeo de Educación, previa comprobación pola Universidade de que o citado título acredita un nivel de formación equivalente aos correspondentes títulos universitarios oficiais españois e faculta no país expedidor do título para o acceso a ensinos de posgrao.
A.4. Un título superior das Ensinanzas Artísticas Superiores do sistema educativo español.

- To acquire a broad knowledge of the socio-labour basic institutions, especially those related to Labour Law and Social Security.
- To develop the knowledge, skills and aptitudes that allow a suitable direction and labour management.
- To know how to recognise the economic aspects of Social Security and Labour Relations.
- To develop the capacity of organization, planning and decision making.
- Acquire the necessary knowledge in the fields of labour, taxation and Social Security to provide socio-labour consultancy services.
- To plan and organize the prevention of labor risks in companies.
- Selecting and drawing up the appropriate work contracts for each work situation.
- To know the rights and obligations of the workers and the different forms of extinction of the work contract.

Ante la orientación profesional, el Máster intentará dotar, en cada una de las especialidades, de las siguientes competencias específicas:

Especialidad de Gestión Sociolaboral:

- Asesorar a las PYMES en el campo sociolaboral.
- Gestionar todas las cuestiones relativas al ámbito de las relaciones laborales.
- Identificar los distintos tipos de empresas y sociedades incluidas las de economía social y sus regímenes jurídicos.
- Capacitar para gestionar los tributos relacionados con el ámbito empresarial.
- Conocer las obligaciones de las empresas en materia de Seguridad Social y los trámites pertinentes ante las entidades gestoras y colaboradoras.
- Identificar las competencias de las entidades gestoras y colaboradoras de la Seguridad Social en la gestión de prestaciones en España y en la Unión Europea.
- Analizar la Seguridad Social de los trabajadores que circulan en el ámbito de la Unión Europea.

Especialidad de Recursos Humanos:

- Adquirir conocimientos para una idónea organización laboral en las plantillas.
- Tomar decisiones y buscar soluciones consensuadas a problemas complejos relativos a la situación socio-laboral de la empresa.
- Seleccionar las opciones estratégicas de Recursos Humanos más acomodadas al contorno multidisciplinar de la empresa.
- Elaborar planes de Recursos Humanos, coherentes con el objetivo a alcanzar.

Especialidad en Dirección Laboral de Empresas:

- Asesorar a las PYMES en el campo sociolaboral.
- Adquirir las habilidades propias para gestionar los procesos de negociación entre las partes de la relación laboral con el fin de alcanzar consensos y acuerdos.
- Conocer las medidas de solución de conflictos al alcance de trabajadores y empresarios y resolver cuales resultan adecuadas en diferentes situaciones.
- Adquirir las habilidades necesarias para poner en funcionamiento un servicio de prevención propio o ajeno y gestionarlo.
- Conocer las respuestas de la Administración frente a los incumplimientos laborales y ser capaz de participar en el procedimiento administrativo sancionador.
- Adquirir las habilidades necesarias para gestionar las relaciones laborales transfronterizas y transnacionales, tan frecuentes en el sur de Galicia.

Mobility

La movilidad de los/as estudiantes está regulada a través del “Reglamento de intercambios interuniversitarios”. A través de la Oficina de Relaciones Exteriores se gestionan programas de intercambio tanto nacionales (SICUE), como europeos (ERASMUS) y extracomunitarios (intercambios con países de América Latina o países de habla inglesa): Portal Internacional

Internships

Las prácticas están orientadas a completar la formación de los alumnos y a facilitar su acceso al mundo profesional y/o a la labor académica e investigadora. Los alumnos cuentan con un tutor externo, perteneciente a la entidad en la que realizan las prácticas, y con un tutor académico que se coordina con el tutor externo para realizar las prácticas y que realiza la evaluación en función de la memoria de prácticas que el alumno debe realizar y del informe emitido por el tutor externo.

Existen convenios con entidades externas, vinculados al actual Máster en Gestión y Dirección Laboral, firmados a través del Vicerrectorado con competencias en Oferta Docente, para la realización de las prácticas externas.

El alumno deberá realizar un Trabajo de Fin de Máster individual, con una asignación de 6 créditos. Éste supondrá la realización de un proyecto o estudio en el que se aplique y desarrolle los conocimientos adquiridos en el Máster. Para presentar el Trabajo de Fin de Máster será requisito haber superado la totalidad de los créditos obligatorios establecidos en el plan de estudios. El trabajo deberá permitir evaluar los conocimientos y capacidades adquiridas por los estudiantes en los ámbitos de conocimiento del Máster, y promover la iniciación en tareas investigadoras. Será dirigido por un miembro del equipo docente del Máster, que ejercerá como tutor. Todas las contingencias derivadas del desarrollo y evaluación de esta materia deberán guiarse por la normativa aplicable, y en su defecto, por las directrices que emanen de la Comisión Interuniversitaria del Máster.
