Conversation Sessions

Conversation sessions are 40-minute speaking classes, up to a total of 10 hours, led by a teacher and focused on practicing oral expression and interaction. During the sessions, linguistic structures are reinforced, vocabulary is reviewed, pronunciation is improved, and oral fluency is developed, all with a didactic approach. Sessions are offered in French and English.

Members of the university community and external participants over the age of 18 may take part in the conversation sessions.

These sessions are led by specialized teachers and involve a maximum of 4 participants (for online sessions) or 6 participants (for face-to-face sessions).

Before enrolling in conversation sessions, students must take a free placement test, which is used exclusively to determine the appropriate conversation level for each participant.

Students who complete the courses will receive a personal USC certificate indicating the name of the course, its corresponding CEFR level, its total number of hours, the type and format of the course, the academic year in which it took place, and the final grade obtained.

Courses are offered in French and English.

Please note that conversation courses do not certify a CEFR level nor do they qualify for ECTS credit recognition
