The Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry is exclusively responsible for the training of doctors and dentists in Galicia. The teaching of Medicine at the University of Santiago has its origins dating back to1648. Training in Dentistry is more recent and began with the School of Stomatology in 1983 and the subsequent creation of the Graduate Degree for Dentistry in 1988. The Faculty offers 6 degrees: 2 Degrees and 4 Master’s Degrees.
