Summary
Pronominal particles ci and ne represent one of the main difficulties in learning Italian as a foreign language for Spanish-speaking students. Moreover, these grammatical elements, which were originally adverbs, are included as part of a characteristic feature of Italian morphosyntax. The challenge inherent in this work lies in the fact of identifying the possible solutions that Spanish offers for these pronouns, which native Italians use naturally on a daily basis in different linguistic contexts, as well as designing learning strategies to overcome the lack of grammatical parallelism in this regard between both languages. Consequently, and in order to satisfy the premises expressed above, a working methodology structured as follows will be developed. First, a comprehensive grammatical review will be conducted on the origin and evolution of this morphological concept from Latin. Subsequently, a contrastive analysis will be conducted in Italian and Spanish, with particular emphasis on the uses and meanings of these particles. Finally, a teaching unit will be designed to help Spanish students of Italian as a foreign language learn this topic effectively.

Summary
During the 1990s, some musical groups that shared very similar sociological, generic and discursive characteristics began to emerge in Galicia. The spontaneity these young people appears onto the music scene gradually converged into a self-aware cultural movement that took shape with a manifesto in 1994. From that moment on, the Bravú Movement grew into a creative identity, transcended the musical sphere and began to influence other fields such as journalism and literature with its distinct nature. At the genesis of this movement, and especially in its process of definition, dissemination and proliferation, we find Xurxo Souto, a central figure of this period, without whom it is impossible to fully understand its cultural coordinates. As a musician, radio host, journalist and writer, his career provides a lens which can show the entire history of Bravú, from the first musical texts to its expansion into the novel and the short story. His literary output, like other authors such as Santiago Jaureguizar, gives rise to transgressive texts rooted in everyday life, with a dignifying and non-romanticized perspective and themes related to rural life, the material conditions of the working class and the experiences of a Galician youth shaped by the arrival of mass culture.

Summary
Since its emergence, rap has had a significant influence on French society, gradually becoming one of the most popular genres in French-speaking countries. This genre is characterized by its strong social engagement, with lyrics that criticize and denounce various injustices. Rap has provided a virtual outlet for many people, particulary migrants and those living in the suburbs, allowing them to express themselves and reduce their sense of marginalization. Thought their lyrics, rappers have established themselves as spokespeople for the concerns and experiences of these communities. Today, althought many songs continue to focus on social denunciationthere is also a noticieable shift toward more commercial themes. Despite this evolution, rap has left a considerable legacy, both liguistically, with the introduction of new terms and a diverse vocabulary, and in terms of cultural influence. This work aims to explore the characteristics of rap ans its importance in contemporary French society. To do this, I will first provide a contextualization of the history of rap to understand the relevance and significance it has had since its beginnings. Then, using the bibliography I will outline the different thematic and linguistic characteristics that can be found in rap songs. I will then compare two Francophone rappers, Népal and Damso, and discuss their concrete roles in French society. Finally, based on the provided data, I will explain the current importance of rap.

Summary
The debate on the state of the Galician language and the language policies that should be implemented has always been present in Galicia's political agenda. In recent times, this debate has once again taken a central role in political discourse. The differences between Galician political parties are well known and significant; however, it is worth asking whether these differences are also reflected in the linguistic ideologies expressed in their speeches and parliamentary interventions. This paper aims to analyze whether the political differences between the two parties with the greatest representation in the Galician Parliament, Partido Popular de Galicia (PPdeG) and the Bloque Nacionalista Galego (BNG), also extend to the realm of linguistic ideologies present in their parliamentary discourse. To this end, a debate from the 12th legislative term of the Galician Parliament will be used as a sample, in which language policy is the main topic of discussion. The analysis will be carried out within the theoretical framework of Discourse Analysis, taking as references scholars such as Kroskrity and Blommaert, among others. Finally, by comparing the messages and discursive strategies of the two main political forces in the Galician Parliament, it will be possible to determine to what extent the initial hypothesis is confirmed or refuted: that there is no perfect correlation between political ideologies and linguistic ideologies in the Galician political landscape.

Summary
Success and failure are terms constantly used to measure the development of human life. Beyond their definition as the achievement or non-achievement of an objective, both are ideas related to social aspects as diverse as school, economy, happiness, or interpersonal relationships. Therefore, it is not surprising that these concepts can acquire very different forms depending on the historical moment, the type of society, or the political ideology. Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) is a type of interdisciplinary research that studies how those in power create and reproduce their ideology to understand how public discourse can control the acts and minds of the rest of society. According to Teun A. van Dijk, discourse contributes to the reproduction of inequality and injustice, since those who hold power in public discourse can control the acts and minds of the rest of society. This work seeks to analyze how the concepts of success and failure are created and what form they take in our society. To this end, the postulates of CDA and its main representatives will be used, which will be applied to a corpus of interventions in the Parliament of Galicia. As these are very broad terms, it is necessary to narrow the search to a more specific field, so the topic to be addressed will be language. Debates such as the advantages of multilingualism, the coexistence between Galician and Spanish, or linguistic normalization policies generate very different visions within the various Galician political parties, giving rise to very diverse ideas about what can be considered success or failure in relation to the Galician language and other languages present in the territory. Through the analysis of topics, structures, linguistic resources, and other discursive elements, we will seek to understand how Galician politicians reproduce their vision of success and failure.

Summary
The subject of the work is the study of the novel The Solitude of Prime Numbers by Paolo Giordano, with particular attention to the themes of trauma and isolation through the analysis of the main characters, Alice della Rocca and Mattia Balossino, and the interpretation of the metaphor of prime numbers used by the author as a comparison with his characters. The study also intends to place Paolo Giordano's fiction against the background of contemporary Italian literature, illustrating its genres and characteristics and at the same time providing a complete biographical profile of the author starting from the interviews he has given, in order to illustrate how his academic path in physics, between his degree and doctorate, has influenced his work and his narrative approach. The work aims to provide a study entirely focused on the figure of this hyper-contemporary author and on his most important work, also analysing how it fits into the broader context of contemporary Italian fiction and deals with universal themes related to youth.

Summary
The purpose of this paper is to present the way curses are manifested in three seemingly completely different areas, which are represented by the following texts: the Defixionum Tabellae, the books corresponding to the Pentateuch, and Ovid's Ibis. The three respective cultural frameworks will be compared, and both their similarities and differences in terms of cursing will be examined. Contextually, reference will be made, on the one hand, to a community marked by the mystical-ritualistic monotheistic belief characteristic of biblical tradition, and on the other hand, to the so-called pagan society, which will be analyzed from a pragmatic and everyday point of view as well as a literary one. This will also lead to the concept of defixio itself, which we will define as the use of powerful words to invoke supernatural harm on someone or something. We will see the connection of this term with the different divinities, who are often responsible for enforcing the invocation. Methodologically, the work will focus on the study of the linguistic features of Latin, such as the lexicon used or the most important syntactic aspects, bearing in mind that we are starting, in one case, from a translation, and in the others from the text in its original language.

Summary
Carlo Collodi, pseudonym of Carlo Lorenzini (Colle Val d'Elsa, 1826 - Florence, 1890), was a journalist and novelist in the second half of the 19th century. Most of his artistic production is related to both political life and local life, which give his entire work a satirical and humorous tone. However, in the 1870s, Collodi became interested in children's literature and created what would become his masterpiece: The Adventures of Pinocchio, a magnificent tale about the misadventures of a wooden puppet until his transformation into a boy. In this book, which is definitely one of the best known and most talked about in Italian and world children's literature, the author manages to convey values like obedience, discipline, and work ethic through a mix of coming-of-age story, fairy tale, and picaresque genre. In our TFG, we will reread Collodi's The Adventures of Pinocchio with the aim of exploring and interpreting three fundamental semantic fields: those of space, the body and food, using as our main bibliographical sources the critical studies produced by two great names of the twentieth century: the writer Giorgio Manganelli (Pinocchio: un libro parallelo, Milan, Adelphi, 1961) and philosopher Giorgio Agamben (Le avventure di un burattino doppiamente commentate e tre volte illustrate, Turin, Einaudi, 2021).

This paper will analyze, from a philological and literary perspective, the parallels between the characters of Lázaro in the work Lazarillo de Tormes and Lucius in Apuleius's The Golden Ass, specifically regarding the role of servitude both characters suffered throughout the narrative and their relationships with their various masters. I will examine the similarities and relevant aspects of characters such as the blind man, the indulgence seller, the poor nobleman, and the greedy priest in the case of The Life of Lazarillo de Tormes , and the group of thieves, the young slave, the priests of Cybele, and the miller’s wife in the case of The Golden Ass. The main objective of this paper is to uncover, through the study of the vocabulary used and the personal assessments made by the protagonists narrators of both works about their respective masters, the underlying social and satirical critique, as well as to explore the impact of these experiences on the future personalities of the protagonists.

Summary
This paper examines the earliest documented references to Christianity in Roman historiography through a comparative analysis of the works of Tacitus, Pliny the Younger, and Suetonius- three of the most representative authors of the post-Augustan period. Focusing on the mentions of Christians in Tacitus’ Annals (XV.44), Suetonius’ Lives of the Caesars (specifically, the biographies of Nero and Claudius), and Pliny the Younger’s Epistles (10.96), the study analyzes their descriptions, historical context, and the language used in their portrayals. The research explores how these authors, influenced by the Roman culture and mentality of their time, depict Christianity as a strange and potentially dangerous religious practice, partly due to the perception that this new faith threatened the social and moral order of the Empire. Additionally, a comparative analysis of the interpretations of Tacitus, Suetonius, and Pliny sheds light on the differing attitudes and nuances each author brings to the narrative, and how these perspectives contribute to the construction of an image of Christianity as a marginalized and subversive religion. The study places these representations within the broader context of religious persecution policies in first-century CE Rome, examining the role of historiography as a tool for social and political critique.

Summary
The Romani people experienced a mass migration during the 12th and 14th centuries, arriving in the European continent and settling in southern Spain after arriving from northern Africa via Egypt. Progressively, this nomadic people settled in the rest of the peninsula and ended up becoming one of the most controversial ethnic minorities in the country. The representation of this people, who lacked their own literature and were relegated to a marginal position, played a negligible role in Spanish literature until the Golden Age. It was Miguel de Cervantes who used this ethnic minority as the protagonist of some of his works and as secondary characters in many others, offering them a space in our literature and reflecting their presence in the social reality of 17th-century Spain. Cervantes's decision to incorporate this marginalised group into his works marked a turning point in the literature about gypsies. The aim of this paper is to analyse Cervantes's view of the Romani people through the study of the description of physical appearance, character, habits and actions of gypsy characters, from both a collective and individual perspective. This paper will also address the stereotypes embodied by these characters in Cervantes's literature. There are numerous works in which Cervantes included gypsy characters, therefore this study will only cover those in which these characters are either protagonists or secondary characters of importance or relevance to the analysis. Hence, the selected works are: La Gitanilla, Pedro de Urdemalas, El coloquio de los perros and Don Quijote. This study aims to be an analysis of gypsy characters from a purely literary point of view, although it will also address social issues such as the prejudice and discrimination that this people suffered during the Golden Age and that they continue to suffer to this day, as they are fundamental to understanding their characterisation in Cervantes's works.
Summary
The main purpose of this Final year project is the observation and analysis of the main claims made by Castelao in his articles in the Galeuzca magazine. In this way, we will be able to construct a mental map through which we will understand the relationship between Castelao's positions on various issues and the ideas that underlie them. With the idea of providing a context, we will discuss his political work in the 1940s and the relationships he forged with representatives of other political forces (especially with the leaders of Basque and Catalan nationalism), alliances that gave rise to Galeuzca and, therefore, to the namesake journal. Finally, we will review part of his most important work, Sempre en Galiza, in order to get a closer look at the way he understood Galician national identity and the territorial model he considered most appropriate for Galiza in his final years, and thus be able to complete the ideological map he drew up through the analysis of the articles in Galeuzca.

Summary
This work will focus on the study of women belonging to the religious sphere within the repertoire of cantigas de escarnio of Galician-Portuguese lyric poetry. In the first part, an approach to the historical context will be made, describing the ways of life and social roles of women who took vows and entered female religious communities in the Iberian Peninsula. Additionally, attention will be given in this initial contextualization section (i) to the literary framework of genre of cantigas de escarnio, where personal satire and satire of social categories will have notable relevance, and (ii) to the Cantigas de Santa María, a work from the same literary area. The last ones although not the direct object of study, will serve as an example of a contrasting perception of monastic life reflected in the cantigas de escarnio and more aligned with medieval religious thought. In the second part, this work will focus on observing the representation of religious women in the cantigas de escarnio, paying attention to the main thematic lines developed, in which a fierce critique and mockery the ways of life of abbesses and nuns who do not follow discipline or convent norms will be evident. The series of texts that compose the corpus consists of a dozen cantigas, which will be reproduced in an appendix. To consult and explore the texts, databases from various research centers (MedDB, Littera, UniversoCantigas) will be used, as they offer the corpus of Galician-Portuguese lyric poetry and specific editions of troubadours.

Summary
France is a country with a great abundance of myths and legends across its various regions. Among these regions, the french region of Brittany stands out. This territory is known for its strong cultural identity and its many myths and legends. Among its mythological figures are fairies, elves, and korrigans… as well as legends such as that of the Ankou (the servant of death on Earth), or that of King Arthur and the Holy Grail and legendary places like the Forest of Brocéliande, the Monts d’Arrée, or the city of Ys. This work will involve a study of some of the figures and legends that are connected in one way or another to the Monts d’Arrée from different perspectives (historical, sociological…). The structure of the project will include an introduction in which the legendary places of French brittany will be analyzed, particularly the Monts d’Arrée, followed by the study of a few emblematic mythical figures and, if possible, a brief comparison with other Celtic cultures. To do this, various bibliographic sources (both printed and digital) will be used to develop this final dissertation.

Summary
Annie Ernaux's work, which has generated controversy for addressing critical themes, merges literature, sociology, and history, providing a valuable testimony to 20th-century France. Annie Ernaux was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2022, recognizing the importance of her literary work. Coming from a working-class family, her writing is part of a project to reclaim her identity and defend her origins. In this work, we propose to analyze the notion of social class in several of her novels, taking into account its intersection with other dimensions such as gender, politics, and memory. To this end, Une Femme (1988), L’Événement (2000), La Place (1983), and Les Années (2008) will be discussed, along with other references that may enrich the study. Through these primarily autobiographical novels, we will seek to observe how Ernaux critically transcribes her experiences, highlighting class inequalities, gender dynamics, and the construction of personal and collective memory. The analysis will draw on the sociological concepts of Pierre Bourdieu and Maurice Halbwachs, which we will briefly explain and relate to Ernaux's work, in order to explore their connection with the themes addressed in her writings. The study of selected excerpts will examine the representation of a society marked by classism and sexism, where shame and a sense of displacement occupy a central place, while also allowing the study to open new perspectives on these issues.

Summary
This work focuses on the figure of Xosé Moreiras Santiso (1939 to 1996), a priest who was secularized in 1981, a writer and cultural promoter deeply involved in the development and defense of Galician identity. Through an analysis of his life and intellectual career, it examines his work as a literary author, columnist for various media outlets, and collaborator on important projects such as Alvarellos Editora and the magazine Encrucillada The study focuses on the recovery and visibility of his legacy, within the framework of a growing interest in exploring voices that, while active and committed, have not always occupied a central place in our literary studies. Through a review of his literary work, his role as a cultural promoter, and his life after leaving the priesthood and moving to Castelló, this work seeks to contribute to the appreciation of a significant figure in the formation of Galician identity during the democratic period. The purpose is to revalue the memory of those cultural agents who valuably contributed to the cultural society of the country.
