Summary
Decentralized finance (DeFi) represents a major breakthrough that, due to its technical complexity, is often not recognized as a great opportunity for the development of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). This paper analyzes the interrelationship between productivity, technology and investment, as well as the context and current situation for SMEs and the labor market, especially for young people with technological skills. Through a conceptual and statistical review, it examines the difficulties and benefits of its implementation, and its possible adaptation to the structure of the Spanish business environment. Although some limitations had arisen due to the scarcity of available data and the lack of an historical trajectory, it has been achieved a first approach to the relationship between these concepts and the convenience of specific tools for the different financial casuistry that Spanish SMEs may face.

Summary
This project analyses the use of influencer marketing in the brands of the fashion sector. Nowadays, consumption habits in fashion reflect a new trend, the peak of fast fashion. Thanks to social media, more information about brands in this sector is shared and managed, which makes that firms modify their marketing strategies. Due to that, this project intends to show how influencer marketing drives the knowledge and the memories of fashion brands in consumers’ mind by means of social media. The research is organized in two studies: a qualitative study, in which publications of influencers with promotional contents of brands in fashion sector are shown in two social media, Instagram and TikTok. With this study, we try to analyse the grade of engagement which influencers exercise and also to know the presence of brands in their publications. The second study is quantitative, and it is realized through a survey. The questionnaire shows important results; for example, that influencers boost the acknowledgement of brands in the fashion sector. Moreover, it is proved that the consumer is co-creator of the advertising message in the media, often providing information through the valuation of previous experiences or the recommendation of products or services which are of consideration for the majority of the population. To conclude, it is confirmed that fashion firms achieve a mayor acknowledgement and notoriety by means of influencer marketing. Influencer marketing boost the link between the brand and the consumer through the influencer. Lastly, this research finishes with the exposition of two conclusions, limitations and possible future work lines.

Summary
As a consequence of the high uncertainty that exists in the current economy, it seemed to us especially relevant to know the behavior of families in this type of economic contexts, and more specifically their consumption-saving decisions. In relation to this, the work has been developed through a macroeconomic analysis of the motivation behind saving. In order to do it, we have developed an econometric model, in which we have used spanih regional data accordind to the period 2006-2019. In the development of the work, a tour will be carried out from the review of previously published works referring to this issue, followed by an analysis of the labor market tha we are studying, the corresponding contrast of the stated hypotheses. As a result of the analysis, it is worth highlighting the different interpretation that the agents have depending on of their economic circumstances of the changes that occur in the main economical indicators. Finally, an analysis of the macroeconomic consequences of the latest economic policy measures such as the increase in the minimum wage or the increase in inflation.

Summary
Since the second half of the 20th century, the depopulation of rural areas has had important political, economic and social consequences throughout Spain. In Galicia, this phenomenon is even more accentuated by its historically rural nature. In recent decades, a population transfer from rural to urban areas has been taking place, a situation that has led to an increase in the cost of services, resulting in a great inefficiency in the distribution of public spending. Rural depopulation is also causing the deagrarianization of the Galician autonomous community. In fact, the primary sector has gone from being 44% of the population to only generating 6% of the jobs in 2016. With this Final Thesis, the evolution of the two phenomena mentioned above will be studied, with special emphasis on the population, agriculture and livestock. This study will be characterized by a strong statistical support, represented by graphs that facilitate a better understanding of the evolution over the years covered by each of the studies carried out, allowing to analyze the historical evolution of the process of depopulation and depopulation in Galicia. Once the data on the current situation in Galicia have been presented, we will be able to discover the results and the conclusions they leave us with, in order to finally offer an action plan aimed at young people, with proposals that will try to reverse the population dynamics that have been affecting the region for years. This plan will promote the return to rural areas of people who are in their first working years in order to bridge the gap between urban and rural areas.

This thesis examines the importance of family businesses, focusing particularly on the succession process within these organizations, using Grupo Calvo as a case study. Family businesses are crucial to both the global and local economies, significantly contributing to GDP and providing job stability. However, they face unique challenges, especially in leadership transitions across generations. Succession is critical for the long-term continuity and success of these businesses. Proper succession planning, including early preparation of successors and the integration of family values, is essential. Grupo Calvo exemplifies effective succession management, having transitioned through several generations of leadership while maintaining its competitiveness and growth. This study employs qualitative and quantitative methodologies to analyze Grupo Calvo's organizational structure, governance, and succession strategies. It highlights the importance of continuous training, open communication, and professionalization of the board of directors. Additionally, it emphasizes how adopting sustainable practices and innovation are key to the company's ongoing success.

This Final Degree Project aims to analyse whether or not there are differences in leadership based on the gender of the leaders. To do so, firstly the academic development of women and the labour market in Spain are analysed, as well as the characteristics of this in relation to gender. Next, a review is made of different leadership styles, from the most classic to some of the most recent. In addition, in relation to the above and focusing on the objective of the work, the differences in the leadership style between men and women are studied and the influence that gender can have on the different models, all through the analysis of studies by different authors. As a final point, a small field study is carried out by carrying out a small survey, which consists of several items that some authors have worked on the different styles and models of leadership. After collecting the data from the survey, the results obtained are analysed. To finish this work, some final conclusions are reached that are derived from everything mentioned above. This work contains 10,126 words.

Summary
The agricultural market is characterised by the presence of a large number of competitors along with products diversification. Due to this competitiveness, agri-food companies stand out from others by pointing out the product features; such as its origin. Place of origin allows consumers to link product quality, to social or cultural characteristics of the region of origin. Furthermore, these facts become more interesting when the product is unknown or there is a lack of previous consumption. This paper deals with the Protected Geographical Indication “Ternera Gallega”. Being the main objective to determine the influence of the origin, in the consumer’s decision to purchase. In order to achieve this purpose, a quantitative study was designed by applying a convenience sampling technique. The data is codified using the IBM SPSS statistical programme for further analysis and drawing conclusions. Once the results have been analysed, it can be deduced, that differentiation by origin is more effective in the female gender than in the male one. Likewise, it was confirmed that, according to the consumer’s point of view; the most significant attribute of a Ternera Gallega product is its taste. However, this intrinsic quality is related to the origin itself. Due to the fact that the product stands out for its flavour, thanks to the previous feeding and care that are linked to the animal’s place of origin. The document concludes by addressing the concern, about the possible future disappearance of the PGI “Ternera Gallega”; with the closure of several cattle farms due to the lack of generational shift.

In today's business environment, people management is facing unprecedented challenges due to the digital revolution. The convergence of technologies, globalization, and increasing interconnectedness have transformed the way organizations operate and how they engage with their employees. In this context, it is crucial to understand how people management adapts and evolves in the digital age. Digitalization has affected every aspect within the organization, from the adoption of online collaboration tools to the automation of more technical logistics processes. People management is also affected by this transformation, as it must provide an answer to questions such as organizational performance, employee satisfaction within the organization or the selection and development of talent. When it comes to recruitment and selection, these processes are constantly evolving as the way we communicate and maintain relationships has changed radically, affecting both our personal lives and the organization and the employee-company relationship. The Human Resources department has been forced to evolve in terms of people management, recruiting the best candidates and selecting those with the greatest potential in a very competitive global environment, so using the right tools to achieve the best performance in this department is especially important, allowing companies an opportunity to innovate and streamline these complex processes while saving time and resources. This work consists of analyzing the tools and new trends in recruitment and selection that technological evolution allows organizations to use to achieve success. The length of this document is 9030 words.

Summary
In this work we will carry out an analysis of the housing market. We will start by studying the construction sector, considered a source of job creation and economic growth, but has been the biggest victim of the 2008 crisis. The housing market is affected by multiple supply and demand factors: income level, financing capacity and costs, demographic evolution, construction costs and the amount of housing available will determine prices and the creation of new homes. Accessibility to owned and rented housing will have special weight, as it is currently a great social concern; The financial effort to buy a home has increased, which puts at risk the acess to this right included in the Spanish Constitution. The mobilization of empty homes will not help resolve this situation due to their inherent limitations. We will also discuss housing for tourist use, as it is the focus of regulatory changes and the significant growth rate it has had, especially in coastal areas. The current inflationary context or the health crisis of 2020 have also had their impact on the housing market. The rising costs of energy and materials in the construction sector in recent years and the low supply of new construction have caused a significant increase in prices in the home purchase market and indirectly in the rental market. The market's future forecasts are conditioned, among others, by the availability of more new construction housing, the evolution of the cost of financing through mortgage loans and demographic changes in society.

Summary
This Final Thesis investigates the impact of new technologies, such as artificial intelligence, on recruitment processes within the European business context. The analysis focuses on how these technologies have transformed traditional recruitment methods, both from the perspective of companies and young people actively seeking employment. The work is divided into several sections. To begin with, we have a theoretical framework that explains the importance of strategic management of human resources in the company, and details the recruitment and selection processes. Additionally, there is an exploration of the concept of “Recruitment 3.0”, which describes how new technologies, especially AI, are automating these processes. After the theoretical framework, we have an empirical study based on a survey carried out on young people between 18 and 30 years old. The results of this survey show that the majority of respondents are familiar with new technologies and make use of AI tools to improve their resumes and prepare for job interviews. Furthermore, the high satisfaction with the use of these technologies stands out, which is why it has been proven that they facilitate the job search and improve the candidate's experience. In conclusion, new technologies are redefining recruiting, offering both significant opportunities and challenges for both companies and candidates.

Summary
The importance acquired by technologies and their constant advances have caused a disruptive change in the economy and, consequently, in society. This paper reviews the main emerging technologies throughout the various industrial revolutions, showing how they have boosted economic growth by improving production processes and living conditions, as well as playing a crucial role in economic and social development. The analysis focuses on the evolution of productivity in the Spanish economy, also considering other Eurozone countries and paying special attention to total factor productivity as the main representative indicator of the economy's productivity. Despite technological advances, overall productivity has declined. Through an analysis of trends and data, we seek to identify patterns and formulate hypotheses about the possible causes of the productivity decline in Spain, such as lack of skills, business structure and unproductive investments, with the aim of understanding and reversing this negative trend in the future.

The purpose of this project is to elaborate a diagnosis of the current situation of Aguas de Cabreiroá S.A. according to an economic and financial analysis based on the calculated ratios and percentages on the basis of its financial statements. In order to achieve this goal, an assessment of the enterprise’s situation compared to another companies of the sector with similar incomes will be carried out. The structure of the report will be the following: firstly, the targeted enterprise will be introduced, as well as the group that it belongs to. Then, an external and internal situational evaluation will be conducted and followed by the economic and financial analysis, which is the main part of this project. Lastly, based on the obtained diagnosis, the conclusions as well as the limitations and possible extensions will be presented. Among all the final conclusions, it should be pointed out the lack of Cabreiroá’s stability as opposed to its comparison group, besides the existing issues that the targeted enterprise is showing when it comes to generating liquidity and facing its obligations in the short term. Furthermore, despite the fact that both the comparison group and Cabreiroá finance their activity thanks to the large payment periods agreed with their suppliers, it is noticeable that Cabreiroá still needs a greater flow of revenues in order to cover the cost of its activity. This project contains 9,510 words.

Given the general concern of companies regarding absenteeism, a report is made in which the relevance and importance of the study of absenteeism is shown in order to find errors that need to be corrected and in which variables that need to be studied appear. The use of machine learning techniques allows to obtain these statistics frequently and the absence patterns can be observed. Knowing which days an employee is most likely to be absent from work helps to replace that absence as quickly as possible and to take preventive measures.

Summary
Trading bots are novel tools for trading in financial markets. Nowadays, it is common for these bots to be built using machine learning techniques. One example of these techniques is reinforcement learning, which allows training the bot to make optimal decisions by adapting to changing market conditions. This work aims to study the state of the art in the use of machine learning in the development of trading bots, as well as the construction of proprietary bots with basic strategies, and also with reinforcement learning techniques. The strategies that will be used to develop the bots proposed in this work will focus on correctly dealing with asset volatility, risk management and dynamic decision making. The evaluation of the results will be carried out in simulated scenarios and, where possible, in live environments in order to optimise performance on a continuous basis.

Summary
This research focuses on the strategic importance of customer satisfaction in the field of marketing. It explores some of the factors that influence consumer satisfaction using as a case study different American fast food restaurants, through a methodology that has been little used so far in the context of marketing: Artificial Neural Networks. To highlight the utility of predictive analytics through these machine learning models, historical data from the food sector is used to build a Python model that identifies and relates the key variables that influence overall consumer satisfaction. The purpose of this process is to provide companies with new evidence on the determinants of customer satisfaction to help them improve their customer experience and optimise their retention and loyalty strategies.

Summary
In this Bachelor's Thesis, the aim is to study the entrepreneurial intentions and perceptions of financial education received by students at the University of Santiago de Compostela from a gender perspective. To achieve this, the methodology employed involved conducting a survey among the university population, with results provided by the GEM Galicia Team. All the analysis of these results was carried out using the Power BI tool, with a prior transformation in Power Query, which allowed for a better understanding of the data thanks to its capacity for integration and interactive visualization. Differentiating between nascent and active entrepreneurs, the study addressed entrepreneurship rates as well as the entrepreneurial intentions of students after graduation from a gender perspective. The perception of students regarding financial education was also analyzed, according to gender and field of study. Finally, the importance of using data analysis tools, such as Power BI, for conducting this type of study, where large amounts of data from various sources are handled, is highlighted. The dashboard created as part of this research is available for viewing at the end of this work, offering a deeper understanding of the data presented.

Summary
Circular economy establishes a more sustainable production and consumption model, which makes it possible to address some of the main current problems, such as the increase in the demand for raw materials together with the scarcity of resources, the growth of demand due to the increase of the world population and the climate impact. In view of this situation, the transformation from the traditional linear model to circular economy is necessary. The agri-food sector, and within this sector, especially livestock farming, is one of the most polluting industries. Within this area, there are already efforts at a European Union level that we can see reflected in the Galician livestock farms, through the control of the impact of carbon footprint and water. It also includes the treatment and maintenance of different wastes generated during production, such as slurry or similar, whey, solid and liquid wastes from slaughterhouses, etc. However, the effective implementation of this model in livestock farms faces important challenges, especially in terms of measuring and monitoring its effectiveness and impact. Thus, the design of a business intelligence system (BI) to support the introduction and development of this 'new' production model would help informed decision making through the measurement and analysis of the circular economy within Galician precision livestock farms, in particular.

Summary
For some years now, we have been witnessing the emergence of a new asset class that has been born as a revolution to the current financial system. Cryptocurrencies initially appeared as an alternative to banks, proposing a decentralised and purely digital-based system. From there, new cryptocurrencies have also emerged for different purposes, from fast and cheap transactions to technological innovations. The following paper reviews the different forms of money that appeared in society until its arrival in the digital era with Bitcoin, explaining what it consists of and why it is relevant today. It also focuses on analysing other types of cryptocurrencies and how they evolved, until reaching the current relevant news in which cryptocurrencies arrive to take a step further in society.
